Review Time
The worst service I have every received. I have been waiting for 10 DAYS for Cool Ideas to activate my internet after moving to a new house. While they do respond, all they do is blame the fibre provider without taking any accountability. I have had to follow up twice a day nearly, with the same generic response being received. Finally, one of their staff admitted that they made a mistake in the application. Yet, despite that, they keep saying they will escalate it without anything happening and they keep blaming the fibre provider yet it was their fault all along. They are not honest. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND EVER USING COOL IDEAS. I still do not have internet. Absolutely pathetic.
This service sucks.I’ve been struggling to get connected to my internet 4 days now. Everyday I speak to a consultant regarding my issue. All of them are saying the same sad story. A technician will contact you. No call just an email stating your issue has been resolved. I ask that someone senior to call but no call of any senior. I dealt with Lerato, Karabo and Chevonne. Then Karabo call said Chevonne ask that she must call me I asked her if she was one of the senior working there she said no. So he asked colleagues to call me to calm me down.4 days without internet which I paid for. After speaking or email them a half an hour I get an email your case has been resolved but still no call from a technician or senior.No follow up call to confirm if the my WiFi is working fine or a manager. Put me on hold for over 10minutes manager is still busy. And this is on my expensive.They sucks!!!!!!!I’ll wait for the call to fix my issue
It's the worst and most frustrating fibre delivery I've encountered especially after using one where we had literally no issues. Streaming is awful, videos freezing constantly, cannot view or get the details quick because it takes forever and I end up abandoning everything I try to do. I certainly will not be using you in the near future when I change providers. Date of experience is EVERYDAY.
So , they down graded my line from being on a 50/50 that is no more available to 30/30 without any mail phone call or what so ever. Phoned them had a lot excuses forced me to take a higher package what i don't mind at all as just there was no communication at all so i had to pay a difference that was a small amount i was billed a full amount as leading paying a double installment to Cool Ideas. Spoke to a person in some department then Emails started of what they need .... to refund the money. I was told the money only gets paid back on a Friday that was last week Today 14-10-2024 they had a issue and now they are only goin to to this on this coming Friday so like in the previous reviews you are a Ball and get moved around i am a customer for 5 years and the service from Cool Ideas has really gone to the drain they where always the best but SORRY to say they need to get they Game back on. Also the connection keeps on dropping that never use to happen like i said COOL IDEAS get your Game back on or you are going to get more and more Bad reviews till you don't have loyal customers any more i am one of those customers and really thinking of changing. Terrible terrible... This is my 4th fibre ISP and unfortunately definitely not my last they are shocking and support is non existent... They have no idea what is going on they do not answer I am seriously now under the impression they do not offer support at all on weekend so whatever you do please do not make the same mistake as me and switch to not so Coolideas.
I hope this mail finds you well. I have logged a complaint with cool ideas, vuma tell on the 06.09.24 as my line went down. I was advised that it would take 72 hours for resolution. Once the 72 hour frame had passed. I called back to follow up and was advised that one of vumatel drivers were stabbed in my area. I then asked which are they were referring to and was advised it took place in lotus river. I contested this as I do not reside in lotus river as I live in pelican park and to get to that area, I would need to take a taxi. They then made up excuses advising that they had now a shortage of engineers.I was then advised that and engineer would be out on the 14.09.24. I waited in all day and then called cool ideas to do a follow up. They then advised that they had sent out a driver but was this time shot in my area, I then asked which area they were referring to, and was advised that they diver went to grassy park this time. Once again I contested this by advising I do live in grassy park and to get there, I would need to take a taxi. I then questioned this logic of sending drivers to different areas other then man, and was met with another excuse, which was they wanted to inspection the main sever. I then argued that in the past, they would come to my property first, to check if there isn't anything wrong with my router or the cables that are infront of the house, and they could not answer that.I then made them aware that I would want a refund for the service I paid for, of which I did not receive, I also requested compensation for the airtime spent following up as none of their agents had taken ownership of my issue. I also advised that I will be changing services providers and wanted compensation for my time wasted, the stress and anxiety as well as needed to avail myself for missed appointments as well as broken slap. I was advised that they will look into refunding my money back, yet till to date, I have not had clear communication from them, everytime I my hear it's been escalated, investigated but no feedback. I have spoken to multiple agents, two managers, yet I still don't know where I stand. Ticket number : #COOL-**********6-**********Line down#please help as I am at my wit's end
This is my first month after switching to Cool Ideas. Reason, Broadband "best isp" ranking. It is now clear that their ranking is BS!Anyway, I was under the impresion that my monthly will be debited. 2 weeks into the month I get suspended. Non-payment. I made a payment arrangement as it was mid-month. I wrote to them but they take so long to get back to me I had to go to their office to get unsuspended. They claim "system glitch". Twice it happened that they suspended within the arrangement period! This is absolutely terrible service. I already do not want to be with them any longer!
