Just look at these complaints and note Cosentino gives the same canned response to all of them. Their warranty is not worth the paper it is written on. There is a sub-reddit group for a Dekton and Silestone class action lawsuit, and I am on board. I had my kitchen counter installed in December 2022, and in less than 2 years, the work area looks scuffed from using a plastic cutting board, which has left thousands of tiny scratches. This material is supposed to be hard as nails and scratch resistant. It has had very minimal use and this is so disappointing.I purchased this based on Costco's recommendation of their products. I'm going to complain to Costco also, as they need to reevaluate their relationship with this company. If you somehow manage to get a rep from Cosentino to evaluate your counter (you have to jump through a lot of hoops and be persistent), I guarantee you will be gaslighted. They actually claimed they could not see one scratch on this counter. If I had to do it over again, I would have my friends and neighbors here at the time of the evaluation. It's funny how everybody else can see all these scratches but they cannot. Then the rep took a video using her phone with the flashlight on. This is absolutely hilarious because it will show nothing but a field of white. There is a fault in the material, which the installer tried to buff out with denatured alcohol. It didn't work because it's IN the material not on it. Avoid this company at all costs. I wish I hadn't been so trusting with Costco's recommendations and had researched it. I waited 23 years for this, spent a lot of money, and now have to worry every time I place a glass on the counter. I actually bought a wood cover for my stovetop, so I can work off the counter and avoid anymore damage. Awful company with an awful product.
They use fake imagery to showcase their products(3D with wrong patterns). Ordered a counter top for 5000 euro that I have to throw out, ive demanded that they bring down the fake images and give me a discount for a new counter top. They said its not their problem if I didnt bother to leave the country to double-check if the photos was actually photos or a 3D-rendering with the wrong pattern. So instead of getting a new order of 15 000 euro and taking responsibility, they are getting an anti-ambassador for their brand and will 100% lose clients. But they don't seem to care. Some companies are just to big to bother.
Spent 6k on worktopsThere is shade variation and some rings in one section of worktop. They are telliing me it is not covered under warranty as I have caused the problems by using an abrasive cleaner. I have only used liquid and a micro fibre cloth. There are no scratches around the affected areas. Stay away from this company. The warranty is worthless.
Read the fine print. Spent almost 10K on countertop, which cracked less than a year in. Warranty (25 years or so they say) doesn't cover cracks. Just lost 10K. Not worth the expensive countertop. No customer service whatsoever. Waste of time and money. Go elsewhere.
Awful. I bought 2 integrity sinks from them and several worktops.After less than a year the bottom of both sinks are pitting. The reason they are pitting is that the sinks cannot withstand the hot water, which is 40 cm above. The sinks are not fit for purpose. Their customer service is diabolical. They choose to not understand the problem, haven't sent anyone round and tell me to clean the sinks. Clearly you can’t do that when the problem is pitting and the surface has come off.
