If you try to get refund on your returns , forget it. I sent my return and had proof of delivery at their facility but they kept saying “we are checking” and never refunded me. Replies were polite but maybe that’s their way to keep the customer in limbo.

half-scam company. Dishonest

half-scam company. Buying is ok. Try to return, they ignore your email and never send you return approval confirmation. So if you send the item back... would you get a refund?? pick your guess.

Shady return practices

Don’t buy from this company if you want an easy transaction with easy returns. I tried to return a bag and you have make a request first before you make the return. Despite contacting the company, they didn’t reply to me at all, so I went via my credit card company who opened a dispute and gave me a credit on my card. It was only then that they decided to reply to me citing ‘system issues’. I then returned the bag and when they confirmed it was received, they then asked me to close the dispute despite not giving me a refund, saying they couldn’t do it whilst the dispute was in place. I contacted my credit card company and they said this was untrue. They continued to contact me asking me to cancel the dispute and I continued to tell them that my credit card company said that they can refund and then the cc company will automatically cancel the dispute. After weeks, I am now ignoring them. Do Not buy from this company!!

UK BUYER BEWARE!

UK BUYER BEWARE!I purchased a couple of bags at the end of March. I wasn’t entirely happy with one of them and contacted Cote & Ciel for details on how to return. I was given an address, phone number and email contact which was all duly completed on the customs forms. When ordering there is no mention of potential customs charges to return an item. If there had been I would not have ordered at all. I wasn’t required to pay any customs charges when sending the item back but the bag has now been sitting in Netherlands Customs since 14th April. I contacted the Customs Office and they say they have tried to contact Cote & Ciel but have had no response. As per post Brexit rules there should be no customs duties to pay as I am returning an item to the EU country of origin. Cote & Ciel have ignored my last 3 emails asking for an update. I find myself now out of pocket - the cost of the bag €220 plus the return cost £25 and no bag!DO NOT PURCHASE IF YOU ARE UK BASED AND WANT TO POSSIBLY RETURN!

Dubious charges

A company that does not live up to expectations. I made a purchase and fully paid for it including shipping (FOC) to Singapore. They promise up to 6 days of delivery.Fast forward 8 days later. There is no notification of shipment and the item did not reach me. I complained to their customer service with the order number CC-APAC-S-15029 and their support officer Rosy refused my refund and taking my money hostage despite failing to meet their own service standard.When I made a comment on their Facebook (coteetciel), it was quickly taken down.Final update: The package was rushed on an overnight delivery with me having to pay 59.05 SGD importation tax.It was brought to my attention by their CS that somewhere in their FAQs (Which I doubt everyone will read intuitively BEFORE purchase), it was stated that there could be an importation tax that was not mentioned in the final receipt.I guess it was my fault for reading their free shipping $0.00 at face value. Lesson learned.
