Review Time
I have had to do verification online in order to pay for and set up a Limited Company earlier today . I was told that the process was easy , simple and straightforward by the customer service advisor of the Limited Formation Company. I had to complete the form along with the payment and then do the necessary "Photo ID" and "Proof Of address" verification checks and I agreed to do them. Anyway I was then told to "Click on the QR code" on my mobile smartphone and then take a photo of my passport for "Photo ID" and then a selfie in order for it to compare that it is indeed me for the UK Passport ID. Then after that was agreed and completed. I was then ask for a Utility Bill for secondary ID for "Proof of Address" and to confirm my address on the document correlates with what they have on the system. So I took a photo of my local valid UK Council Tax Bill and uploaded it. Then something happened and it went back to the start of the "ID Verification Process" again. I tried this three times and each time it would not accept my current UK Council Tax Bill. I spoke with the customer service person and informed that after spending a considerable amount of money with setting up a Limited Company. I cannot use my Limited Company until the verification checks are completed. I told that I was not at all impressed with the service from online ID checks company Credas. Hence the poor review on Trust Pilot. Until this is resolved and I will keep it at one star. As that what the Credas deserves. As They have not solved my problem and they have not got back to me. "You never get a second chance to make a first impression!" My first impression is that I am very disappointed and not impressed with the service of Credas.

You can only upload documents on phone, they said for most successful results, They ask you log in to a unverified website, like they now you, when I tried twice to load photos ID and utilities bills as asked, which is nearly impossible because of loading process, what I can make of it all doing is gaining info for nothing, twice I did it, you have no idea if it has been accepted or succesfu ,but they do this on behalf of a SCAM company called YOUR COMPANY FORMATIONS LIMITED, who are just as bad who after two weeks will tell you it has been unsuccessful, but only after you rang and emailed you several times.AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE there are a SCAM as well.
I did not want to share my details but had it imposed on me in the process of to renting a flat. My person ID is now held by a private company and is largely out of my control. Nationally we rejected id cards, but this has been imposed on us. I feel physically sick.
