Customer service is mediocre at best. It appears that most, if not all of their customer service reps are foreign and speak with a heavy accent that is hard to understand. I just called a few minutes ago and was going to ask them for a lower annual fee on one of their cards that I had recently cancelled. Every time that I log onto their website to check my current card, I get an offer to reinstate that card. At the beginning of the call, a female representative asked me for my name and I gave it to her, then she asked for something else which I couldn't understand. I asked her to repeat her question (in a nice way) but she started yelling at me, repeating the same question over and over. Yes, she was screaming! I hung up. How rude! Their customer service representatives never seem very interested in helping you but this woman rose to a new level of rudeness. That's unfortunate, because I love their website. It's easy to navigate and includes all the information that I need. The APR is fairly high and they're stingy with credit limits and cash advance limits. Great website, unacceptable attitudes of representatives at times.

I am out of work right now and had asked my friend if he could possibly pay my credit card off for me so I could have some money to pay bills he agreed and paid the card off in full credit one accepted the payment said it had been verified but then turned around and suspended my acct stating the acct needed to be verified even tho it says online in my acct that the payment.is verified and when I called they refuse to lift the suspension I could understand if someone had called in and said hey I didnt authorize that payment then yes i would understand the suspension but that is not the case they will take the money but then treat you like u did something wrong like your the one using someone else's acct to make payments to your own and im sure it has happened but it hasn't in my case and no one has called in to say otherwise my friend really doesn't want to send his personal info in to a company that treats it's customers like this and I dont blame him again I would understand.if they had received a call and if they were so concerned why did they accept the payment in the first place they should of made me or him verify his acct before they took the money but hey as long as they got their money thats all that matters ive paid my bill every month on time and always pay way more then my minimum payment it's completely and totally unfair and not right and im being punished for paying my bill off in full I wouldnt recommend anyone at All to.use this company they will take money from whoever then punish you for it do not use this company
HORRIBLE! Credit one takes 7-10 business days to take payments out of the bank or card you are paying with. To make an "Express Payment" you must pay them an extra $5 - literally charging people to make payments! They are thieves, and if you are thinking about doing business with them, DO NOT! They will drown you in maintenance fees and extra fees. Absolutely deplorable people with bad customer service.
I wanted a smaller card to keep around and help my credit. I looked at reviews etc and decided to take a chance.
I haven't had a lot of the problems others have had but that remains to be seen.
However, I got behind one payment when I got really sick, then went to ER with ruptured ear drum etc. I had seven different meds to take.
They harassed me day and night, weekends, evenings, holidays, it didn't matter.
I wish I could show you all my call logs. Holy cow.
And they're not afraid of getting turned in for harassment.

I called to get my card caught up, the guy was in a call center because I could hear others talking to customers as well (not just credit one bank customers either). He actually helped me and REMOVED the $39 late fee. I was skeptical .. but he did it.

Now my account is showing where it's supposed to be, the fee showing removed, and the payment/adjustment was over night.

So that being said I can't be TOO mad at them lol I just hope this trend continues!
I applied for A credit card ..it said I was approved for 2500.00 and low and behold I got a measly 300.oo I am not very happy at all my credit is in good standing and this is what I get ha ha ...I will hold a few months and move on to better honest cards... Sincerely Terry Wills.
