I’ve shopped at C&A a few times hoping to find affordable basics, but my recent experience was incredibly disappointing.
First, the quality of the clothes has drastically declined. I bought a few items that looked nice in-store, but after just one wash they started fading and losing shape. It feels like the materials they’re using now are cheaply made and not suited for regular wear.
To make things worse, when I went back to the store to return the items, the staff were unhelpful and uninterested. I had all the receipts and tags, but they gave me a hard time and offered no real solution. They kept repeating the store policy without any empathy, even though it’s clear the products were faulty.
I also noticed that sizes are inconsistent. An item that fit me perfectly in one style was unwearable in another, even though the size labeled was the same. It makes shopping frustrating when you can’t trust the sizing.
Overall, between the poor product quality and the lack of helpful customer service, this was one of the worst shopping experiences I’ve had in a long time. I won’t be returning to C&A and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for reliable clothing.

Absolutely the worst clothing company in the history of mankind. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS. N.E.V.E.R. buy from this disaster.They bombard you with relentless SPAM, treat customers like dirt, and have zero integrity. Don’t be tricked—stay as far away as possible. NEVER, EVER, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM.
I ordered 2 tshirts online on swiss website. I did not like them and returned them together in 1 package. I have only received confirmation that 1 was returned. I have contacted customer service through their online formula 3 times and I get no response. This is terrible service. I will not be paying for items I returned and I will never shop with C&A again.
Strongly advise not to do any online shopping at C&A. Hard to belive, that nowadays in a pool with H&M, Zara, Mango, that have excellent logistics with online shopping, they act like just discovered webshop concept. I have ordered 4 pairs of socks and 1 trousers, value of the package in total 65€. Post NL ripped the package, patched it brutally, and put the label about the damage notification. I received 1 pair of the socks less than ordered. Inform the same day Post NL and C&A. Post NL said "not business of ours", and C&A after sagas and epistolary forms in the e-mails concluded, that they "can not replace my lost item because of their organisation. But they also can not return my money. So I should order the item again (and pay it again!), and they will send it free of delivery costs"!?!?!? But if I could be "so kind and send clear photos of the package damage, and hand signed statement, about my damaged package, so they can claim to the post"!?!?!? So I have lost my goods, my money, and they want me to pay them again, and help them to get their insurance from their delivery company. Belive that their behaviour and "policies" deserve attention of the customer protecting rights agency.
I spent 20 minutes searching your site for products on sale that ended up being unavailable on check out, but still listed for sale on the site! I will never use your site again, waste of time, and yes, chat support is rude and not helpful
