Review Time
Paid for a specific time slot for delivery and turned up quite late. No apology, no explanation....nothing. Then after 2 days the washing machine has developed a fault. Keeps bring up an Error Code (E22, blocked filter) but the machine is brand new. Checked anyway and not blocked. Sometimes it won't drain, other times it fills up when it shouldn't and on one occasion, the machine said "cycle ended" but was still going ! Definitely a "Friday Afternoon" Machine that is not fit for purpose under the Consumer Credit Act and needs to be exchanged asap. Contacted Curry's Customer Support who were completely disinterested. Said somebody would call back and guess what....silence.
The gentleman who served us could not have done any more for us. He was knowledgeable on the products we were wanting to purchase. Nothing was too much trouble, we were not made to feel we had rush or anything. He's a credit to your Wakefield branch.
Fridge freezer is ok. Wasn't told how to reverse the door had to ask how long to stand before using. Felt sorry for the guys as they carried it up the stairs to the flat surely you have a stair climbing barrow it would be cheaper than paying for compensation for injured backs
Purchased a tv online and collected from the Grimsby store The tv is working perfectly so no issues whatsoever with the productIt’s just the staff in the store they don’t seem to be very helpful at all and not really interested in customer service I have been to the store a few times over the years the staff faces seem to change but the customer service has remained the same lukewarm at best I travel a lot so have had the experience of other stores across the country anything from laptop repairs to ink for the printer all no problems helpful staff keen to make a sale but Grimsby nope 👎 not interested at all At best you will be standing around like a lemon for ages as the floor staff try and hide and when you do finally get there attention you are greeted with a blank look void of any sales or customer service banter Come on curry’s management put the spark back into the store before it’s lost
This is an update on my complaint from 3 days ago. I Ordered a small 22 inch smart tv for my grandsons birthday last Saturday a paid for it to be delivered on Sunday. I never got it on Sunday so i waited till wednesday and phoned customer services who put me on hold for 10 mins till they phoned DPD carrier. I was informed that they were sorry for the delay and it will definetly be delivered on Thursday. Waited in all day ,but guess what .yip no tv. I have phoned this morning and been told the parcel was at the wrong depot but getting scanned at 1.o.clock but cant promise it will arrive today. So i told a load of rubbish over the phone on the wednesday. I have informed them if its not delivered today Friday then they can keep there tv and a will be taking this further. If you shop with this lot dont get a delivery ,pick it up. Shambles of a company.
