Review Time
I purchased a printer instore on a Friday, which I needed very urgently. It was out of stock but I was told it would be available for collection the next morning at 9am. I returned the next morning and was told that was completely untrue, I should not have been told that, and it would take another 7 days. I had to spend the whole weekend running around various neighbours houses begging for favours with their printer.
We recently ordered a Sony Bravia TV from Lakeside Curry's and would like to thanks them for their exemplary service. We ordered another product the same week from John Lewis and it has turned into a disaster. On delivery the induction hob was smashed- 8 days later we still don't have the refund or a cooker- shocking performance compared to Currys. Usually you think big organisations like Currys and John Lewis don't particularly care and that is the case with John Lewis, they have palmed us off to various different overseas compliants departments.On the other hand must give credit to Curry's and in particular Barry Doyle from the business hub in Lakeside who stuck with the problem and took ownership and resolved it within 48 hours. This is a follow on from my refund request regarding a damaged ps5 box which had been opened when I collected this online purchase from my local store. I went in last Friday to sort this problem and spoke to the manager who spoke to head office while I stood with him in the store but after 10 mins he told me it can’t be done at this time. He assured me he would call on the Monday to update me on progress but failed to do this, I then contacted Currys customer helpline and I spoke to a call centre employee who could not put me through to my local store, informing me I would have to go to the store myself(15 mile round trip). I will visit today to get my refund (£528)if not my last option is to contact my credit card company to take the required action on Curry’s to bring this disgusting customer experience to an end.
