Received a full-value replacement voucher for a laptop, under your Care-and-Repair plan dealt with helpfully and promptly. Thank you very much.(However, alongside this an attempt to repair my broken device was dealt with amazingly badly! - I have had three texts telling me that my repaired laptop is to delivered (now 12 days late) - I wasn't expecting it at all, having opted for a replacement. It was to arrive last week but didn't (no explanation), and againyesterday (so I stayed in again specially) but it never came. Now I am told it will come Friday!! - I shall not, repeat NOT, be in.)
Shout out to Luke and Jack who today delivered and installed my 77” TV. Excellent communication, patient, solution driven and happy to work alongside other trades within the room. They genuinely made a brilliant job, they were tidy and millimetre precision perfect too. My only regret was not buying more tvs for them to install. Thank you so much for such outstanding service today guys 😊📺
I bought a carpet cleaner on line from Currys 3 weeks ago. When I received it the stair carpet brush was missing. I asked them to send me a new one they said send the original box back which I did. They told me 5 working days, that was 3 weeks ago. I rang Currys again after a week, they told me they haven't received it. I rang them again today, they told me they still hadn't received it and they will give a report to me in 3 days. I found it so difficult to understand the person on the phone the other end, I told him so as well, then he began to whisper, then I lost my temper. I rang up DPD, they said it was signed for and received last Friday. I believe the expression is fake news. I say mistaken or where I come from lying toe rags. I get the impression I am dealing with a 3rd world company operating in the Far East. I am being totally ignored by Currys. I strongly suggest do not buy on line from Currys because the minute they get your cash forget what they promise you, they are going to make your life a living hell. They also told me there was £100 knocked off the carpet washer, I only paid £140 approximately. I have to look into that now at the store. Believe me be very careful when buying on line from Currys because once they have your money God help you
Appalling, just try and ask if there’s a complaints number. Nobody is able to tell you how to do this, AI doesn’t even know. I ordered online and had the wrong item sent a simple mistake. Now add on the whole tribunal procedures., Call Centre, chat agents, investigations they need to do, two weeks later they’ve concluded I can return the item, only thankfully Royal Mail delivery photo at my door. Thankfully the item was not in a box or else they never would have accepted the mistake, but every link/number they send me right back to the start, every person I speak to doesn’t know how to return it, asks me to wait for the delivery?**?**, as if a robot or doesn’t understand English. It is the most appalling system I have ever used. Please look at your system and instructions, they are either wrong or don’t have enough info, or take you back to beginning . Decision trees on you phone system that just cut off. Allways suspicious of anything where you don’t have a direct in person contact. They say I can’t just take it to a curry’s shop and explain to a person when buying online (1 hour to get this much in agent chat). I’ve been cut off a number of times mid conversation, most of the tree decisions lead you nowhere. Text chat agents dealing with serval people at once, rude. Taking 5 mins to ask a question such as phone number, then add it in, 5 mins later, email and add it in. 30 mins just to clear security. It’s not that you are busy, agents are dealing with many people in parallel at once, on text, would any do this if you were talking to people? They persistently ask the same questions again and again saying do I want to do it online? I absolutely cannot get a product returned at this moment in time. Two weeks later it’s appalling. No person to actually call when your in a catch 22 and nothing fists their robot system. Update 9 physical hours trying to arrange a return. Over several weeks. Cleared to return, I tricked the system and picked the gas leak option to get to a person, was told I’d get swap options. Each link never gives ‘no’ options, so had to call again as the collection automatically stated dispute it saying I had option, it was set in stone and the option to change on the link, had no option, no link. End to end, just the worst flawed miss mash of instruction, I’ll only every buy from the a shop again, if I give it this chance at all
Was looking at a Samsung space max fridge freezer to purchase online couple of days ago with reduced sale price of £739 save £360, it was in my online basket but ever time i went to click save then buy it just disappeared from my basket so gave up.Today the same fridge freezer was back in my basket with a price increase to £1099 and online also,On price match the same fridge freezer is on John Lewis website for £699, so bought it from them instead with a dishwasher also. Saved about £400 in total buying two identical items from John Lewis instead with the help from price match.
