When issues arise, the customer service is virtually non-existent, leaving you to endure the consequences. A full refund is denied, and interactions online feel condescending, as if you’re unworthy of quality service.
Let me explain.
My partner and I recently moved to a new location and purchased a mattress through a marketplace. The delivery was scheduled for two days after our move, allowing us to enjoy it after staying in a hotel for four nights.
However, the mattress never arrived. We were home all day and night, yet the delivery service claimed they attempted to deliver, which was untrue.
For two weeks, we tried to get our mattress delivered, and the delivery company failed to fulfill their promise. Being in our 60s, we resorted to using seat cushions and cardboard as a makeshift mattress, which was extremely uncomfortable. Each day, we were told the mattress would arrive, but it never did. Ultimately, the frustration led us to cancel the order and seek a refund, as advised by the retailer.
We requested a refund after purchasing a wonderful mattress elsewhere, but it hasn’t been processed yet. They informed us they would issue the refund six weeks post-delivery date, but kept 50 Euros of our money, citing their terms and conditions. This is unacceptable.
We are still fighting to recover the withheld amount. The delivery company they partnered with has a terrible reputation.
My advice is to steer clear of this seller; they show no regard for customer satisfaction and fail to grasp the importance of good service.
They let us down and took our money. I am profoundly disappointed.
What’s even more frustrating is their apparent lack of awareness regarding the trouble this has caused us, perhaps indicating a total disregard for their customers.
When things go wrong...customer service is NON existent and you will suffer. You will be refused a full refund. You will be spoken to online as if you are an idiot or a child or someone who has no right to be given quality customer service.Let me explain.My partner and I have just moved to Alicante in Spain and in advance, purchased a mattress through Leroy Merlin which happened to be on Dagostino's marketplace page.Delivery was supposed to be 2 days after we moved in and having stayed at a hotel for 4 days, we would then be able to enjoy the mattress on the bed that Leroy Merlin had already delivered a few days earlier.The mattress didn't arrive. We were home all day and evening.We asked Dagostino to investigate and their foolishly named delivery company, ON TIME, said they had tried to deliver. But this was a lie.We were home for 2 weeks at a house where up to 8 different delivery people and tradespeople came to our new house to do work or to deliver or to quote for jobs.For 2 weeks we desperately tried to get the mattress to be delivered and ON TIME did not deliver. We are 60 and 69 years old and had to make a makeshift mattress out of seat cushions and cardboard. It was SO uncomfortable. Every day Dagostino said the mattress would be delivered and every day we waited. Nothing. In the end, our frustration and discomfort was SO much that Leroy Merlin advised us to cancel the order and get a full refund as Dagostino had failed to deliver our order.We cancelled. Asked for a refund and went to the Maxcolchon shop to buy a mattress which is WONDERFUL.We had to ask for our refund and it did not come.Finally they said they would make the refund yesterday (6 weeks after delivery was supposed to happen) and they kept 50 Euros of our money!! Because, they say, their terms and conditions allow them to do this if the item is not faulty or if the delivery issue is not their fault. This is not acceptable.We have not received the refund yet and we are still fighting to get the 50 Euros returned.The delivery company they used has the worst reputation in Spain.So my advice....avoid Dagostino because they don't care about their customers. They do not see the bigger picture that is customer service.They failed me. They took my money. I am deeply disappointed.You know what's just as worse as the above? They just don't get it. They don't seem to understand the trouble this has caused us...perhaps they don't care.
I ordered the mattress on 8th April and it has been delivered today, 11th April. The product is correct. The delivery driver was really nice and helpful. I have no complaints. 11/01No answer since 5 days and I didn't received my order after 20 days... if nobody give info I will proceed with legal actions. The tracking n they provided the first time I contacted doesn't work. And now no news nor answers. UPDATE 20/01Almost 1 month to receive it today with really ghosting assistance for days, since a mattress might be urgent and I wasn't even sure to receive it anymore, I had to buy another one... Let's see now the return assistance and refund... Little detail, the TN was correct, and I received the item in 24 hours since they sent it... I found out the the problem was there... they sent it just yesterday.Suggestion: Being honest and say "sorry, we still didn't send it because of inaspected high amount of orders", might help the customer to trust and relax instead receive no answer for days and panic. I really thought I've lost my money.
No problems with ordering, very quick delivery, well packaged, look forward to using this productNow we can review this product as we have been using it for several nights, and we are very impressed, it's comfortable, cool, I don't get so hot during the night, having very good night sleep with this. Wish we had found this earlier in the year. Thank you.
