I was bought a tempur bed and mattress 12 years ago and did love it but noticed it was starting to show its age. Time for a new one and I went to a local stockist and tried the options out. New bed and mattress took a while to order but once it arrived it’s been stunning. So lovely and comfy and such a good nights sleep. I wouldn’t buy any other bed

Many years ago, we purchased a tempur cloud 22 mattress and were so delighted with it that, when we felt it was time to replace it, we naturally bought a new Tempur mattress. We chose the new Pro plus @ £2500. After 8 months we noticed some dipping on either side of the mattress where we both slept. By 10 months, this became very noticeable and so we contacted Tempur (via the retailer) to complain. They sent out an "independent " specialist who did various tests including putting a weighted cord across the mattress and a chart to measure the dip. They declared that the dip was 10mm, which is an acceptable degree of dipping for that mattress. It needed to become 20 mm before it was classed as defective.

Another couple of months have passed and we believe the mattress has dipped further. If this is the case then the mattress is not going to serve us for years.

The cloud 22 mattress came with a 15 year warranty but the Pto Plus has only 10 years which, in my opinion, shows that the build is not expected to last anywhere near as long as our other mattress. We plan to review the dip again in 3 months before raising the matter again.

If you are thinking of buying a Tempur mattress, I would think again as I feel it is far inferior to earlier mattresses and is not worth the money. I certainly will not consider buying ftom Tempur again.

Purchased a mattress from the Braintree store in the Sales after Christmas. Was contacted to arrange delivery on 9th January. Called back on 12th January and was advised only deliver monday to friday. I informed them the first date someone would be available to accept the delivery was 12th February as had annual.leave already booked. No further communication from them. Called first thing on 12th February to be told - no deliveries in your area today and can't deliver till next week. No one has anymore leave. The logistics company won't sort anything else our. Tempur customer services won't help as wàs bought in a store. Store not able to help and they can't process a refund today as the manager is not there. Totally useless company. Have left a disabled person with no mattress, no refund and no resolution. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Bought a mattress which cost over £2000 from Dreams, Tempur mattress, contacted Tempur as problem with the sides coming away, they told me needed to contact provider, which I did, they send out someone to check, he said he had never seen one so bad, said it looks like that when someone jumps on it, which I assured has never happened, almost accusing me. Its within the guarantee which isn't worth the paper its written on, because they washed their hands of it. Sent an email to me, informed me I could pay for another technician to come out and look at it. No thanks. So under guarantee, its faulty and nothing, they never responded back to my return email. Would I buy another one NO, would I recommend one NO, don't waste your money!

Disappointing Experience with My Recent Mattress Purchase

Having enjoyed a comfortable sleep on a premium mattress for over 20 years, my recent replacement has been quite frustrating. I was advised to choose the smallest mattress size due to my petite frame, and I opted for a medium firmness similar to my previous one. Unfortunately, it turned out to be painful, especially as a side sleeper, leading to discomfort after just a short time. After seeking advice from the shop, I was told that a deeper mattress might not be suitable for me, which only made things worse. Thankfully, I was allowed to upgrade to a deeper option, which seems to be better so far. However, I question who would find comfort on a mattress of this size at such a high price if I am struggling, and why I wasn’t advised on my side sleeping position. The entire process has been challenging, with long delivery times and trials resulting in months of uncomfortable sleep. The current mattress feels excessively firm, and it’s clear I’ll have to endure more discomfort while it breaks in. Additionally, I had to come up with a solution for sheets sliding off, which shouldn’t be necessary. If you're prepared for a lengthy and potentially uncomfortable journey to find a suitable mattress at this price point, you may want to reconsider. For such an investment, comfort should be guaranteed, and quick exchanges should be standard. Also, better advice from the shop and improved technology for the slippery surface are essential. It's surprising that with such high costs, the experience isn’t more enjoyable. In my experience, I felt somewhat misled by the shop regarding the mattress I tested versus the one I received. The delivery times are excessively long, and the cool touch surface doesn’t perform as promised, failing to keep the mattress and sheets in place. I was shocked to discover that I might need to purchase specific branded sheets instead of using my existing quality linens. At this luxury price point, the experience should be far more satisfactory.

Mixed feelings after trying a new pillow

Having used my current pillow for six years and considering it the most comfortable one I've owned, I received a new cloud pillow as a Christmas gift. Unfortunately, it doesn't compare to the original; it's quite thin and lacks comfort. In fact, my older pillow still outperforms it, despite its age. It's disappointing.

After enjoying my current pillow for six years, which has been the most comfortable I've ever had, I received a new cloud pillow as a gift. Unfortunately, it falls short of the original; it's quite thin and not nearly as comfortable. Even my old one, despite its age, is still better. It's a shame.
