Depop is a really great app for buying and selling stuff! As a seller I can say that whenever I have problems with buyers for like refunds and payouts, just contact/email Depop and they immediately solve it. Really satisfied with this app!
Really not a fan. I tried using it for the first time; didn't have prior experience. I thought I was using it properly, and I never got any notices that I wasn't. I went ahead and spent time getting a bunch of listings up. Waited forever for a sale. It finally came. I went through all motions I was supposed to; downloaded the shipping label, shipped the item.. I never got any way on the app or the website to actually "mark the item as shipped", but I contacted my seller anyway to give them a tracking number. I'm "hoping" they got their item. Because before anything else happened, I was suspended to never be able to get my acct back again, regardless of my asking support what was going on. So in the end. I lost money on the sale, got my account deactivated without understanding why, contacted support throughout this entire process without a response back until it was too late my acct was suspended (I kept writing and asking how to mark as shipped and no one ever got back to me), and I never got paid. So I'm eating the cost of trying to use Depop. I think with horrible support like this, you might be wasting your time with them. Don't bother. There are way better ways of selling clothes online. Vinted, Mercari, Etsy and Ebay have all been successful and easy for me. Depop was totally futile and a loss of money. I don't recommend it at all.
Bought a bracelet which turned out to be a cheap fake. Took ages to arrive when i complained was told they would tell me where to return it to, not had any further response and emails bounce. Going to the police trading standards and requesting a chargeback from my credit card company.
Depop has the most outstanding customer service. They always respond within just a few minutes to any questions I have.Also, Depop payments ALWAYS come fast and on time.Selling online can be a bit tricky but in all honesty, Depop makes the experience easy for both buyers and sellers.
