Bunch of scammers!I saw a used bike on the website discounted from £50 to £35I tried to message the seller to ask what size it was and they never responded.I decided to bite the bullet and buy it though as it looked like an adult bike.Weeks later and it was still awaiting shipping. (I was checking daily as I was excited to get the bike) Randomly I couldn't log in anymore and it kept coming up with an error.I download the app and try to log in and it says that my account has been suspended for violating their terms and conditions!!I sent an email asking about this and I get a response saying that they are going to keep my account closed without explaining why!?The next day my account was unbanned, I think they said it was an error on their part?I'm still waiting for the bike to be shipped a month laterI don't know if I can try and get my money back on the website now as it is over a month later.....
I have to say, my issue was resolved promptly and professionally. I’m very pleased with the team—especially Maria Kristine, who took my concerns seriously and resolved everything within just a few hours. Initially, I wasn’t sure if I’d feel confident buying from this site again, but this experience has reassured me. It’s clear there are genuinely helpful people here who are committed to taking action and making things right.
Depop added a default address to my account which was not mine, and it was confirmed that i had fixed this. I placed 6 orders. Half went to the correct address and half went to the incorrect address. Depop' s customer service is automated, and every contact was with a different AI agent. I had to start over with each contact and repeat the same thing over and over. Eventually this led to a " we can't help you , this is your problem" response and the complaints were closed and I lost over $140, which they expected the SELLER to cover. Not her fault. Save yourself the trouble and keep moving. Do NOT shop here. The buyer pays a bunch of fees and gets no help.
It's a scam. I ordered women's Chanel rain boots. I received an old pair of men's sneakers. When I raised this to Depop they sent me a very threatening email back accusing me of "manipulating photos." When I asked what evidence they had of this they couldn't provide any. I have the photo of what I ordered, the photo of the item I received, tracking number etc. it's clear they know it's a scam and are just trying to intimidate people into not talking about it. From their rating it's clear this isn't working for them.
