having to pay a fee on top of that if…

having to pay a fee on top of that if you have to return something, you also have to pay for the shipping fee they will return but when? Then they allow sellers to reply to reviews. So that they can cover their mistakes! How will anyone know the truth if they allow the seller to reply and make it seem as if the buyer is at fault? I had an issue with an order I paid for it was supposed to be delivered the same day I go to look for it tracking is a mess. It’s not there. I had to personally reach out to the seller and ask her about my order which she did get back to me stating she didn’t know she didn’t ship it. asking if I wanted a refund I then said no I just want what I paid for reason being I had a feeling that the refund would take just as long as getting what I paid for. when I received the item it was broken. I inbox her again. She took about a day or two to get back to me she stated that I can make a claim I make a claim now when you make these claims you have to send photos I sent photos very clear photos of how the shoe was broken. It was actually cracked. when she replied to my honest review, which was just stating how difficult it was, she made it seem as she was so pleasant and she just made a mistake and she didn’t know if I might’ve scamed and swapped the shoes out mind you she saw the photos when I filed the claim. They are her shoes. They’re the same shoes that she posted on the website. I do not enjoy leaving an honest review and getting told that I’m basically a thief. Slandering my name over a mistake that was her fault not mine!!! And now I won’t get my refund till she receives the shoes. That’s like another week so I’ve paid for something almost 3 weeks ago and won’t see my money till I don’t even know when. Bad business!!! From seller and website. Alexandria Lindsay Sellers @whimv sellers info. Only reason I even bought the shoes is because they don’t no longer make them anymore.

Depop is a wonderful selling and buying platform!

Depop is a great selling and buying platform! They handle unauthentic item issues wonderfully! No seller fees. Wonderful app! I use it as a buyer and a seller!

Depop is wonderful

Depop is wonderful. The set up is out of this world as it connects buyers and sellers instantly. The analytics are fantastic and you can quickly see the status of your orders at EVERY stage. The Depop admin team handle enquiries immediately and by a human not an AI generated response. I have nothing but praise for DEPOP.

Fed Up
Frustrating shipping issues

Depop needs to hold sellers to a time limit for shipping items. I have purchased two items recently that I have had to open cases for, because the sellers ghosted me and didn’t ship. Vinted can do this, so Depop should. Slight extra credit given for quick refunds in both cases, but I shouldn’t have to keep opening them.

SCAMMERS!

I have 75+ sales with all 5 star reviews. Out of nowhere, they blocked my account and when I contacted them, I was just told that I violated their terms and conditions and they won’t be activating my account. I have £300+ pending balance and they said I will have to wait 30 days before we can discuss payouts. This is unfair as it is my money stuck with them when it should be in my bank. Disgusting customer service. They will be replaced soon as the market has no place for such platforms. Stick to eBay or Vinted. They also charged 2.91 to my bank without any information as to what it’s for. I will be taking legal action if I don’t have my money given to me.

Fair and Timely

I have had to get help from Depop twice once was to do with Depop payments and another was to do with an issue raised by a buyer. Both times Depop handled it and it went really fairly. So I think they're really efficient and fair.

A lot more buyer protected now!

Great place for buying and selling items to support peoples’ small businesses. Depends on the seller about shipping times. Depop has recently made changes that allow you to get a refund for an item you’ve been waiting for and haven’t received easily, it wasn’t before. Highly recommend buying and selling on Depop
