Didn't know that the name of this comapny is how they will treat you...

Outrageously shameless - our moving day was ruined, and they still wanted more money

We rented a van for moving day, and the vehicle ended up with a battery/start problem during the rental. Instead of apologizing properly, refunding the deposit quickly, or offering compensation for the disruption, they asked for even more money.

Let that sink in.

The van fails on one of the most stressful days possible, and their response is to demand extra payment.
That is beyond unacceptable.
A rental company should provide a working vehicle and take responsibility when it does not.
One of the most frustrating customer experiences I have had in the Netherlands.
