DO NOT USE DIXONS SELLYOAK- we rented our house through DIXONS SellyOak for 1 year. Our house was to be managed and agreed regular contact to keep us updated that the house was in the immaculate condition it was given to them. The property was not monitored or maintained there was no contact from the agents or visits undertaken until we complained following a visit to the property. We ended the contract for the tenants to leave at the end of their contract. Another month in our house. We entered the property which took us 5 days to clean with faeces down the radiators and all over the floors. Damaged high gloss kitchen bathroom suite dirt and grime everywhere. The deposits team awarded us £270.00 to replace and repair although they had the cheek to still take their management fees. Complaints are a waste of time it’s just an email process. I would not recommend DIXONS as an agent for renting buying or selling they are useless !!! They don’t look after your home at all they are just happy to make a quick buck - robbers 🤬🤬🤬🤬. DONT USE THEM BEWARE EVERYONE !!!
I did not receive the level of mortgage support I expected from this company. While their general customer service was satisfactory, the mortgage advisor was not helpful. Despite charging a substantial fee, I do not feel that he secured the best possible deal for me. In my view, Mr. Mazar Singh appeared more focused on maximising his own profit than on acting in the best interests of the customer, particularly given his £700 fee.
Dixons Moseley branch managed a property I rented for two years. My tenancy got off to a bad start when the property was left in a bad state after being assured upon viewing that the place would be cleaned, paint refreshed, grass cut, and broken meter boxes repaired. None of this was done. Then heard nothing from them until after terminating the tenancy. Despite requesting my deposit back immediately after vacating the property, Dixons sat on my £1,100 deposit for FIVE WEEKS. I discovered that it wasn't even passed to the team dealing with deposit returns for four weeks. Every staff member I dealt with lacked accountability, professionalism and empathy for my situation (having needed the money to feed my family after an expensive home move). I can only assume they make money from illegal withholding of people's deposits.

**Title: Disappointment and Frustration with Dixon Birmingham Erdington'sProperty Management**As a landlord, I entrusted Dixon Erdington with the management of my rental property, hoping for a professional and seamless experience. Unfortunately, my experience has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing.First and foremost, the lack of initial inventory documentation is a glaring oversight. This basic and crucial step ensures clarity and accountability for both the landlord and tenant. Dixon Erdington's failure to perform this task left me vulnerable to potential disputes over property conditions at the end of the tenancy.Communication with Dixon Erdington is another major issue. Their team rarely answers phone calls, and what's even more frustrating is the absence of follow-up on voicemails. As a landlord, I expect timely and efficient communication, especially when concerns regarding the property arise. This aspect of their service has been severely lacking, leaving me feeling ignored and unsupported.Perhaps the most concerning issue is their apparent neglect to visit the property at any point. Regular inspections are a fundamental aspect of property management, ensuring that the property is being cared for and that tenants are abiding by the terms of their lease. Dixon Erdington's absence from the actual site demonstrates a concerning level of negligence and disregard for both the property and my interests as a landlord. In summary, Dixon Erdington's management services have fallen significantly short of my expectations. Their lack of communication, failure to complete an initial inventory, and absence from the property indicate a severe lack of professionalism. I strongly advise other landlords to consider alternative management options to avoid the frustrating experience that I have endured.
Thankyou you Naif at Dixons yardley, he showed us round the property, friendly and knowledgeable. Great service and would definitely recommend asking for him. Thankyou David at dixons yardley, He was on hand, could contact him anytime, made himself available to answer queries on the evening. Sorted out my mortgage, Took his time to explain the process. Got me in contact with a great conveyancer. Would definitely recommend both these guys :D
