I bought the DCB XCR frame for my daughter, we chose purple chameleon and pretty impressed with the build quality and no issues fitting all the parts. Just waiting for warm weather to take it on its maiden voyage.
If i could give zero stars i would. Ordered some pretty simple handlebars from them, not a complicated order, 4 months later and I'm still getting excuses as to why they haven't been shipped. Must have emailed them 10 times, almost never get a response and when i do its just excuses. the latest is 'the frame arrive raw and take time to prepare in our facility before dispatch'.... I'm sure they do, but i ordered handlebars.... avoid buying from them at all costs.
I ordered the DCB RDU700 Specialized Tarmac Style Ultralight Disc Brake Road Frame So far I’m in love with this frame. I didn’t want to pay $4000 for a frame that simply isn’t worth it to me. So for under $2,000 I was able to build an electronic shift, hydraulic brake, power meter, and carbon fiber wheels bike. We inspected the frame and it quite simply looks and feels amazing. Time will tell once I take the bike on some runs but honestly there is nothing that makes me question the frame. Took around 30 days to get the frame and Ty was very responsive and kept me updated. Unless something wild happens I will honestly probably buy a spare to have as a back up just in case. Once the frame shipped on a Friday it was in my hands the following Wednesday even from china. It’s impossible to state just how amazing of a deal this is unless something crazy happens and if it were to happen I will update. Thanks Ty!
Switched out my smallish 27.5 plus frame for this in large size. Frame quality was excellent and well-packed. My existing components matched just fine. I had previously purchased carbon wheels from DCB a few years ago which are great. Running 27,5 x 2.8 tires which clears the stays fine (but are about the limit). Ty was great help along the way. Awesome frame!
Trek Rail & DIY CarbonI recently purchased a set of carbon fiber wheels from DIY Carbon. I mounted the new wheels on my Trek Rail 9.8XT and it transformed my bike into a precise machine. The bike feels more active and the wheels are very strong. I found that they are also easy to clean. The process went well in ordering the wheels, all of my questions were answered quickly. The wheels arrived safely and were well packed to prevent damage. I was relieved to see them slip into my front fork and rear stays with ease. The hard part about the process is choosing the accessories to make a unique statement. I would recommend these wheels to anyone looking to upgrade to carbon fiber wheels.Steve P.
I have two of these frames. One built as a rigid 29x3.0 singlespeed and one as a 1x10 gravel bike with 700x47 tires. Both perform extremely well and I've had zero issues with both. The singlespeed is the most nimble bike I've ever ridden... and with the 29x3.0 tires it's a tank that rolls over everything! I decided on Wheels Mfg Threaded BB to make sure there would be no creaking from the BB. I had a Stache Aluminum frame when they first came out. I had issues with frame flex and skipping gears when I tried it as singlespeed. These frames do not have any issues like that. Excellent investment! Get one before they stop making them!!
