I used Doola to set up my U.S.-based LLC from abroad, and overall, the experience was smooth and straightforward. The platform is well-designed, and they make the process easy for non-U.S. residents, especially when it comes to forming an LLC and getting an EIN. Having everything under one roof—formation, banking, tax filing—is a huge plus. That said, I do think the pricing could be a bit more competitive. While the services are convenient, the annual cost can add up quickly, especially when adding compliance or bookkeeping features. There are other options on the market that offer similar features for less. Also, while the support team is helpful and knowledgeable, response times can be slow, especially when you're on a tight schedule or have urgent questions. Faster communication would make a big difference in the overall customer experience.Still, I appreciate what Doola is trying to do, and I’d recommend it to other founders—especially those outside the U.S.—but I hope they work on improving pricing flexibility and support turnaround.
I’m impressed by their thoroughness and professionalism. They guided me through every step of the way to get my new business incorporated, filing the necessary documents for an EIN for taxes, and completing the paperwork for a BOI. (First time hearing about this). I highly recommend them, they can be trusted.
I hired Doola to set up a single-member LLC, but they made a serious mistake by drafting my Operating Agreement as if it were a multi-member company. This has significant legal and tax implications for me. When I contacted their team to fix it, their representative Satinder K only changed the document title, but the content and articles of the document still described a company with multiple members. This level of unprofessionalism is completely unacceptable for a company offering these services. After weeks of emails, the representative told me that I should make the necessary changes myself, which is absurd since I paid for a professional service, not to correct their mistakes. It is completely irresponsible to ask me to modify a legal document on my own, without proper guidance, when they should have provided me with the correct document from the beginning.Additionally, I paid for them to handle my BOI filing, yet I keep receiving urgent emails asking me to complete it, even though I have already done so twice. They warn that failure to submit it could result in $500 daily fines, causing unnecessary stress and uncertainty. I still don't know if the form was properly submitted or not. This level of inefficiency and lack of accountability has wasted my time and caused unnecessary frustration. I urge Doola’s management to take responsibility for this situation, correct their mistakes, and provide me with the proper Operating Agreement I paid for. As a customer, I am deeply disappointed with a company that claims to provide top-quality service but has failed to meet even basic professional standards.
