An absolutely horrible experience. I will alway, always recommend against this company!
Such a nightmare! I'm just a consumer. I never planned on selling their products or be a part of the company or anything like that.
I got a few oils for my kids with a free diffuser. I thought "oh, nice" and looked forward to it. The oils came without the diffuser. When I reached out to the customer service, they said I wasn't qualifying for one when I clearly remember it was there in the cart.
Anyway, I wanted to return the products since it was very misleading. Spent half a day shooting emails back and forth on how to do a return, and it was so complicated. And then in the end of the day they just sent me a simple link for the return. I don't understand why they didn't do it right from the beginning.
When I said I wanted to delete my account permanently and never do business with them again, they said I need to fill out a termination form. A termination of contract... What contract? I never signed any contracts, I just wanted to diffuse some oil in the bedroom. I can't believe there's no simple delete button.
The structure of the company is very complicated and difficult. I never ever want to deal with them again. Very, very disappointing!
I was eager to try two new products during the November BOGO promotion, but I ran into issues because the time zone was not specified in the email, website advertisement, or on the ordering page. This left me in California, nearing midnight, desperately trying to understand why my order wouldn't process. I want to share my review and concerns to inform others. The company did not clarify Mountain Time during their promotion, leading to order rejections for customers in different time zones, including mine. Their website was inconsistent, notifications were misleading, and customer support neglected accessibility concerns. I've submitted complaints to relevant authorities to help prevent similar experiences for others. Note: If anyone encountered similar problems during the BOGO promotion, particularly regarding time zone issues or website errors, consider filing your own complaint. More reports can increase the chances of regulatory action.
I like the products but hate everything customer non-service. Website down several days a month (especially 1st days and if specials start), customer service does not react to mails for weeks. Changing your delivery to another country or changing your address is close to impossible. Overall it is an aggressive multi level marketing with made up "standards". After spending a lot of money I would advise to spend more time finding the same quality for a much better price and get service on top.
I have been a loyalty customer for months now , with each order exceeding 100 euros. One month ago I received a product , specifically their electrolytes and for some reason it had an awful taste, like it has gone bad. I contacted the customer service and they told me to send it back and they will refund me the money and also the transportation costs once they receive it.However after contacting several couriers I was told that the shipping price will be 50 Euros and so I contacted the customer service to confirm that they will pay the costs. However they completely denied what they said and said that I will need to pay for it! Keep in mind the original package price was only 50 Euros this time…I asked them if there was another way to be refunded , either via a discount code , extra credits to use for the next purchase etc their answer was no, they could only give me 34 points.. and when I asked if I can use them on the products I am ordering they said no again! Only some juices and toothpaste! Completely unreasonable They lost a customer!
Just broke my wrist beginning of October...incredible what I experienced while using the oils right after the accident and after surgery re pain, nausea and swellling...so grateful🙏 I am very satisfied with the service and what dōTERRA means to so many people - outstanding company who serves the human beeings and help this world to become a better place with less pain and struggles🙏💞❣️
Their ordering website works very poorly. I have never seen such poorly organized, confusing, slow and buggy ecommerce website.Commercial policies are made solely in the interest of the merchant. Many products are unreasonably expensive.A recent example: A new product of theirs containing fish oil and olive oil and costs many times more (~5) than if you bought these products separately from a top brand in Norway and respectively Greece, Italy or Spain.
My Missus spent a few hundred quid on this muck ! I spent three days bent over the pan being sick, three days in bed feeling terrible ! And the quack who sold it to her and poisoned me said, "Sorry no refunds" Steer clear of this Muck ! It'll kill you !
Doterra has the absolute best customer service experience I”ve ever had with any company - and trust me, the list is LONG! Lisa Zimmer, one of the corporate account managers, has been there for me AT ALL TIMES - whether it be during weekdays or weekends. She’s answered questions and always addressed concerns over the past 4 years that I have been a Doterra customer. These people are exemplary when it comes to the customer experience :) P.s. favorite oils are peppermint and the digestzen roll on (magic)
I have no idea what all the bad reviews are. I suspect that the rude comments about customer service might be because the people calling in are rude. Also yes they are owned by former LDS and so is young living oils. So what? If it was owned by Baptist would that make you feel better, or jews or ?? What the heck does that matter. Personally This is the only products that have curred my stomach issues. Customer service is excellent and of course you are not locked into anything and you get your own account to cancel your own loyalty orders if you choose this route, so whoever is checking out these bad comments, throw them. ALL out the window because its all hogwash. AND no I dont sell it i just buy it as its better then anything in a drugstore. You all go back to supporting the drug companies and I will support this company which is the only products that cure you.
