Was emailed that my order had been shipped, followed up after 2 weeks and was advised they made a mistake when packing my order and were out of stock. Okay these things happen, but they should have let me know then! No apology was offered. Wait was going to be 4-6 weeks so got a refund. Subsequently got an email to review the product - clearly their systems need improving.
I was charged twice for one order in the same day. When I received my order it was the wrong style x 2 items. The company has now given me a refund for 1 item as they did not have the correct item available as listed on their website.
I bought 3 pairs of underwear based upon the fact that I had gotten them from Farmers, who then sold out of them and so came online looking for to buy more. The Farmers ones were cotton and since there was no mention of the fabric on this listing I assumed that the Downunderwear ones were also cotton. My bad. Turns out that they are microfibre which I cannot wear and still have not either worn let alone tried on...no point. Tracey responded to my first email to tell me that they would not take them back, even though they were lax in their description by missing out important details and even though I still have not worn them and won't be able to. She has not bothered to respond to my follow up email. The fact that they do not have a contact phone number should have been a warning in itself. Sooo disappointed as I was thinking that this was going to be my 'go to' store for future purchases. Looks like that won't be happening. Now that I see these other reviews I know that I am not alone in my estimation of Downunderwear as a company.
I placed my order a month ago , and have still not received it, I note the website states up to 15 days for some orders but 4 weeks ( and counting ) is excessive .. I have emailed and been informed most of their stock comes from overseas and is by sea freight? Not airfreight and was given no indication of how much longer I will have to wait .. not good enough , also citing Covid 19 as reason is getting lame .. we are long past those days , perhaps a simple and honest indication on the website that the item is ‘not in stock ‘ would be more transparent and respectful to their customers.
