I don't know what DPD's problem is. Every courier service finds my address without a problem, but they never succeed. If I have to go pick up the package myself every time, then I don't know why they charge for a service they are not capable of providing.

When I called to report this ongoing issue, the representative refused to listen, was dismissive, and ultimately ended the call on me. This was a very disappointing experience, especially since the problem had already been acknowledged. I anticipated better communication and accountability.

The driver explained that this happens frequently; the app inaccurately indicates delivery status, leading to customer frustration directed at the drivers. The service needs to improve its software to support its employees better, as it is a large enough company to ensure its internal systems function correctly rather than just focusing on profits.
This is my second negative experience, highlighting a troubling pattern of laziness and unprofessionalism. For the first delivery, I was home the entire time, yet the delivery person did not ring the bell or attempt to come upstairs, resulting in a false failed delivery. For the second, I chose a nearby pickup station, but the driver ignored this and left the parcel at a distant shop that was closed when I needed to retrieve it. This lack of adherence to instructions and basic delivery attempts is unacceptable. Training for delivery staff is necessary to respect customers' time.
I sent a package from Romania to Vienna on December 1st. It reached Vienna by December 2nd, but since then, the local facility has been unable to deliver it to the address, easily found with a simple search. I have never encountered such incompetence. Redirecting the package to a pickup box was also unsuccessful, leading me to question their capability as a delivery service. I advise staying away from this company.
The service has been extremely poor. We have not received our package, which shows as delivered. I have called numerous times but received no response. This is very frustrating, especially since they claim they delivered it to a different location.

At 77, I received a drink from my daughter for my birthday. I didn’t hear the bell or knock, but I saw the driver across the street. He left a note to return the next day and insisted on ID, which I had to search for. My limited mobility made this difficult, and I had to rely on a neighbor's ID as a substitute. The service should allow drivers to use discretion in these situations and better inform customers about ID requirements in advance.
