My parcel was dropped off at a ParcelShop three business days ago. According to the delivery times provided by DPD when the postage was purchased, it should have been delivered to me by now. However, the parcel has not even been collected from the drop-off location.

I spent over 40 minutes on the phone and in the app’s chat trying to reach a human representative, as the chatbot could not deal with this issue. When I finally spoke to someone, I was told there was a problem with the parcel and that I would receive a callback. I missed the call by a few seconds, and since then it has been impossible to speak to a human again.

It is extremely frustrating to be unable to resolve a straightforward issue because access to proper customer support is so limited. Very disappointing experience.

Hopeless

Horrific experience,awful collections manager,avoid at all costs

After using lots of parcel companies over the years and having a few issues of late I decided to give DPD a chance……what a big mistake,the experience was horrific to put it bluntly,I booked 6 parcels in for the same address on the weekend for next day delivery,On the Monday I got a window of 15-45 to 16-45 for the parcels to be collected,at 15-47 I got a message,I am sorry that Hassan missed you,unbelievably Hassan never came,we have cameras and ring doorbell and no Hassan and the parcels were outside as my wife who weighs 8 stone carried them out for the courier although they weigh 30kg each,I called up numerous times saying he hasn’t even tried to come and they said they would get the depot to call him to collect that day,Well not surprisingly no Hassan came back,Next day I called and they said that they would be collected Tuesday,once again we had a window,this time it was James,James turned up saw the parcels which I booked in with the weight and dimensions they are banana boxes and James said he had no room for 6 parcels,I was fuming,I called customer services and they contacted the depot collections manager and he said he would send a sweeper in the morning,it’s now going to be Wednesday,I called Wednesday moand they called the manager and he guaranteed collection before 12 midday,well surprise surprise no collection,After lots more calls I finally got them collected at 3,Absolutely pathetic from DPD online,I am using other couriers going forward,My wife lost 2 days at work due to your poor service and the collections manager and Hassan the driver need sacking

Horrible experience, do not do it!

I used DPD online to return a big parcel back a company, instead of the company to communicate with me that they were unable to deliver the item, the item had come back to my home. The item was returned in a terrible state, I did not send the item in a bad state, the box was ripped, the item I wanted to buy was completely out, they could’ve broken the item. Instead of rebooking with Dpd online, I booked with parcel force instead, who delivered my parcel with ease. Do not do it to your self!

Parcels have mysteriously disappeared from the parcel locker

I used the DPD online parcel shop service for the first time, sending 3 parcels out on 16.12.2025.2 have still not been delivered, the system says they were not actually put in the parcel locker (they were) and I have been trying to chase this up as they have my parcels and have charged for a service and my parcels are NOT delivered.The online help won't let me get past the "you havent sent the parcel screen" and the phone support says they can't do anything as its the online team. I have now escalated it and been told they will investigate what has happened but I don't expect anything to come from it as I have chased up 4 times.Once we have placed the parcels into the locker, its out of our hands and I cannot believe 2 parcels have gone missing and DPD are not interested in sorting it out, they just keep palming me off with vague assurances to wait a little longer. Its been nearly a month now.I will not be sending any parcels with them in the future and I urge others to change methods also

Paid for next day delivery

Paid for next day delivery. Driver took photo of another house and failed to deliver. Being 75 years old having just had a growth removed from my leg, I cannot go anywhere. He said I wasn’t in. I have appointments over the next few days. DPD after being given three options have failed to agree to any of these options. I now have to get a house sitter at my expense, to wait for delivery Tuesday. The fact they have left me minus my phone, my only means of communication. Means nothing to them. It has left me feeling vulnerable.How I feel about this company I cannot put into words. There delivery agents are out and out liars. The other delivery from them on the 22nd was accepted by myself, yet their driver wrote the parcel had been left in my porch. I don’t have a porch.

Just Rubbish…… as usual

Requested Parcel to be left in my usual safe location. Whilst out received an update saying I’d missed my driver. Returned home to find no parcel in my safe location and then checked dpdlocal online and found a photograph I presume taken by the driver of my neighbours house. Had the driver rotated their body anticlockwise through about 120 degrees they would have seen the big house sign with the address matching the parcel they had in their hand and the big gap next to it (my safe location) to leave the parcel. They hadn’t called at my house or left my parcel as requested. Trying to get help on line was pointless as too was telephoning them. The items were needed today for a commitment the next day. Shocking what is the point of even bothering to as us for a safe space to leave a parcel.

Urgent aircraft on ground parts sent…

Urgent aircraft on ground parts sent overnight Thursday did not arrive Friday, or Saturday but eventually informed it would be Monday between 13.15 and 14.15pm. 2 of us in the house, I have been in the front garden all morning and gate left open, car on the front, garage door open and just having lunch with clear view of the front when DPD send an email to say that they were sorry to have missed us as we were not in. That's a blatant lie, the driver has been nowhere near our road, let alone the house, and I'm furious, I can't stand liars. They will send a pin number so I can collect tomorrow, another day wasted. Disgraceful service which has ended up costing money and putting back engineer availability. I sent the parts out last Saturday morning by Royal Mail who even tried to deliver on the Sunday and delivered Monday early am. Much better service. Would never consider DPD as this is not the first time items have either been lost or delayed.

Took photo from driver seat and drove off

I am in my house. The driver just turned up, took a photo of my building outside from his driver seat and drove off. Didn't even ring my number. I was parcel 20 and he was on 16 so he's just sacked off the whole building. How are they allowed to get away with this? Won't be delivered now until Monday NICE ONE. Bunch of cowboys. No way to compalin online or escalate it.

Awfully poor service maybe you will get your delivery maybe you won’t depending on who’s driving the van that day will usually receive a notification that a delivery attempt has been made when nobody has been to property no card left nothing tracking number not recognised ect ect it’s always an issue when it says dpd on the van
