First used Dpom just before the pandemic started and had great results but unfortunately things went down hill due to covid so had to stop for a while. The guys and girls at Dpom were my first call when I was read to start advertising my hotel again now the world is turning back to normal. The next step is a new web site and thheynhave been really helpful advising me on what sort of site I need which is crucial given I’m getting on a bit and this is all beyond me. We were forced to fire this company in three weeks due to incompetence. DPOM have gotten the worst results I have ever seen from a marketing agency. Their Google Ad Result Was: Last 7 Days, £293.84 Per Lead! Before they were hired, it was £25 per lead. When we called the account manager to let them know about the mistake and they didn't care. No guilt, no remorse for wasting loads of my money. THEY DID NOT CARE!
our company has been using Dpom for a while now and always have had great service and good results. I have recently taken over the media and marketing role for our company and Lee has been a great help to me and he has always been happy to answer my questions (which I am sure are mostly daft questions but he answers them any way).Peter
signed up for starter packagte with dpom for my catering business, surprisingly good service given i pay £95 per month. Raise a ticket to communicate with them but they answer quickly and ive built quite a good relationship with the guys. V.happy so far.
We've been with DPOM for a few months now, and our Google Ads has been performing much better than when we we're managing it ourselves. We're a niche area and difficult to advertise and even on their basic plan DPOM, and our consultant Patrick, have been doing great work. Looking to upgrade in the next few months to their next package.
Cheap but for a reason / Inflexible Contract TermsBest to read the contract small print first before you sign your life away on DPOMThere are nasty clauses all over it especially with regards to payment which they refuse to even consider amending.For example if you are 7 days late on a payment eg if you are on on holiday or ill , they automatically charge you for another 2 months and you are contracted to it. So at £195 + vat you are looking at a £468 payment. I raised this with them but they refused to change this to a more reasonable timeframe beyond 7 days late or even remove the charging 2 more months for no reason. Seems very unreasonable which should make you wonder what other issues there might be if contract terms are this inflexible."a. 6.3.1 Should the Customer cancel their Direct Debit Mandate (or debit/credit card authorisation) without first providing an alternative payment source, an administration charge equal to 2 x monthly payments will be charged in addition to any outstanding amounts"Its hard to trust companies that have contracts like this especially when any request to change them is met with comments like "We have terms in place to protect both you as a client and us as a business". This is definitely not protecting you as the client in any way and seems way beyond protecting them as a business!Dont waste your valuable time!
Unfortunately my business sales have not improved at all since using DPOM services for the past 4 months. In fact my costs have increased whilst sales have reduced over this time. Since January 2023 we have spent in-excess of £1000 in fees and AdWord costs and achieved only 22 sales in total, a loss of over £700. I cancelled the service with DPOM on January 31st but have been informed that will have to pay up until the end of March even though I have no intention of using their services again. They say things will improve in time but it is my business that is losing money, not theirs.I will be looking for another Google AdWords Partner, and all I say is do your homework first and be prepared to part with a lot of money with very little reward. I should have taken my own advise!!!
