Review Time
I arrived at the agreed time and spent 90 minutes in a queue. On completing the paperwork was told to go outside and the car would be brought round 10 minutes later advised that they didn’t have the vehicle we had booked 9 seater but I could have 2 cars I was on my own.I was assured that the payment wouldn’t be taken and deposit refunded immediately not the case worse experience I have had in booking a vehicle. Location is also not on the airport and is more like a backstreet garage than a reputable business.
After having a “botched” booking through Easyjet, I thankfully landed in the safe hands of Tony at Belfast International, his service was excellent, and immediately put my mind at rest. Pick up was on time , superb car supplied, affordable rental and insurance and all communications were clear and easy. The next time I need to rent a car I will look no further than Drivalia. We picked up our car from the branch at Edinburgh Airport. It was horrendous!!!!!!! We walked into a waiting area with around 30 other people waiting to pick up their cars too but only one member of staff to do everything. We were given a buzzer for when they were ready for you to go through the paperwork but the wait was awful. Therefore if you are planning to be anywhere by a certain time I wouldn't recommend them. The wait time was well over an hour so you've already lost that time that you've already paid for. The member of staff wasn't to blame but it is just really poorly organised. The company know exactly what time cars are booked out and being picked up so they should have the number of staff there to be able to handle it. If not don't take any more bookings for that particular time. The actual car was great but the initial pick up experience means I wouldn't use again.
Absolutely amazing service. From the beginning Stuart was accommodating and went above an beyond. I had made several mistakes booking but he was there to assist an keep me right. Car was perfect and whole process was smooth. The customer service from people like Stuart is the reason i will recommend to friends and family. Thank you Drivaila
