Raj was a great help when we picked up the car and gave us a free upgrade after noticing that we were struggling with our two young kids. Made a huge difference to our holiday having the extra space. Leo was also super friendly on drop off! Thanks guys
Hired a car for 3 days in early june and was very disappointed to find that there was a claus stating in the small print which we didn't get to read until after we signed the agreement stating there was a milage quota..We were fined for going over this milage. Yesterday a further £60 was taken from my account with no notification or reason..When I rang i was informed it was an administration fee for confirming my details as we had received a parking fine and that it's via camera so there would be no ticket or other indication issued. It's impossible for me to prove or disprove 6 weeks after the event. The staff member was unable to clarify why I wasn't informed of this parking fine or how confirming my details could cost £60. I was not aware that drivalia would still have access to my card details and he confirem that they don't accept cash for this reason. He was clueless to most questions asked and very unhelpful. READ THE SMALLPRINT . I would not reccomend this company or ever use them again.
I recently rented a van from DRIVALIA and was very impressed with the service. The original van didn’t have air conditioning, but Valentine, one of the team members, was incredibly helpful and made sure I was looked after. He quickly arranged for an upgraded van with air conditioning, ensuring I had a comfortable and hassle-free experience. Great customer service – thank you, Valentine and DRIVALIA!
Do not hire from these people, they are absolutely dishonest. We hired a van through a Travel Broker in NZ, on pick up when paying the security deposit, the employee at Drivalia manually voided our credit card twice, refused to enter card manually, basically backing us into a corner with no alternative but to purchase extra insurance. This created major stress financially and emotionally. This is bullying in the highest degree to create another sale. Unfortunately we are stuck, we've written to our broker, who wrote to her head office, but they can't help. Our broker also written to Carjet who organised the car with Drivalia. So many layers to hide behind. All lead back to that we signed a contract at the office on pick up. As I said, we had no alternative, six of us on a road trip for 4 weeks, we needed the van that day. Rogues and robbers. Do not use them. They cost us an extra NZ $4620. The main point is their employee manually voided the transaction twice! Blackmailed us basically. UpdateWe have written many times to Drivalia, and, Carjet, that was the first thing we did.
I’m a regular customer of Drivalia the team are really helpful polite and professional when I’m collecting both cars and vans ,special mention to Raf who always is great to deal with and always really helpful, thanks so much .Paul Warrington
