They charge for unapreciable damages and menace you to put in a ROSC list if you submit a bad review

They charge me for unpareciable damages I've not done. I driven carefuly and have no issues dind't hit the tyre and nothing else and when I return the car they inspect the car with lens to search anything they could charge you for and they found like they seems litle scracthes on the front tyre ring that were almost invisible. For this they charme me with 90 pounds for the scratches and 85 pund for administration fees. This is totally unacceptable they give me the car with similar damage in the rear tyre ring so could be possible that this damage was before and I didn't realize because of course I don't have what every detail of the car with magnifient lens. So they don't use this money to repair the car the only want to charge an extra cost that was problably done to the previous person who rented the car... I opened a case with customer support and they reject my arguments and they menace me saying that if I make a bad review I will be put on a ROSC list and cound't hire a car anymore in the UK? So they act like Peacky Blinders menacing and extorsioning. Never have been treated this way before and never ever will rent a car with this company.

Great experience at Edinburgh City Center!

We had a great experience with the rental car company in our first UK driving trip! Sam from the Edinburgh Central - City Centre Drivalia helped us immensely on check-in - he was very kind, able to get us into our rental car quickly and was a very personable individual. We came in feeling nervous as we had never rented a car before and we were able to joke with each other, which helped to calm us down before embarking. We didn't run into any issues with our 5 day road trip across the Scottish Highlands and returning the car on our last day was seamless with no hidden charges which was appreciated. Overall you have a great team of people and we really enjoyed our rental especially for the price we paid :)

Avoid Drivalia – Terrible Communication and Service!

Avoid Drivalia – Terrible Communication and Service!I strongly advise against renting a car from Drivalia. My experience was a complete nightmare:I received two penalty charge notices (PCNs) related to my rental, but Drivalia only informed me nearly a month after they were issued. This meant that I had to pay both fines at full price—one of them at the very last possible moment—because I was not given the chance to pay the reduced rate.Their email even instructed me not to contact the issuers or fill out the appeals forms, leaving me with no practical option but to pay up immediately or risk even more fees and legal trouble. To make matters worse, my $500 security deposit still hasn’t been refunded 5 weeks after the end of the rental, despite several complaints from my side.Customer service has been slow, unhelpful, and has never offered any solution or compensation for their failures.I will never use Drivalia again, and I urge others to avoid them at all costs. There are plenty of better and more reliable rental companies out there.

Great price and great service

Had a great experience with Drivalia in Belfast was great to take out full cover and not have those extra covers that spring up... when you already think you have it covered.... lovely Omoda car super plush and high tec.... don't be put off by having to leave the airport to collect the car.. it 5 mins and they constantly have a cars to ferry you...the price was the cheapest for a C segment car with 2 drivers and full insurance £364 all in.... collection and drop off were super quick.. I will def use this company again

Shambolic Drivalia at Liverpool Airport

Hired a car from Drivalia at Liverpool airport. Initial arrival was fine being picked up at airport and taken off site to Drivalia depot. Given hard sell for their insurance even though I had already taken out full insurance with Zest Car Rental. Vehicle was supposed to be a Kia Sportage. I was given an MG which had scratches on every panel. At one point the Drivalia employee was manipulating the rear nearside panel as he explained it had previously been involved in an accident. Wheels and rear bumper were scuffed. No parcel shelf or car mats revealing holes in driver side carpet. Horrible car to drive. Returned the vehicle to depot on a Friday afternoon to discover there was nonone on site at the depot. An employee had arrived twenty minutes later after dropping someone off at the airport. By this time there was a queue of people both looking to hire and return vehicles. I eventually had my vehicle checked in to be told that there was an IT issue leading to overbooking which didn't explain lack of employees onsite. The manager then arrived and didn't even have the courtesy to apologise to all of the people waiting. He buggered off after checking in a vehicle leaving noone else to take people to the airport. We had to walk to the airport as there were no staff to take us and my flight was due. A horrible experience. Do not use.

What a sh!thole of a place .

What a sh!thole of a place .. I booked through Bookinig.com and thought it was Avis who the booking was going to but to my dismay it was this tiny disgusting little chop shop in Aylesbury. I arrived and was greeted as you would expect from an establishment such as this. I asked if this is the rental place and got told "yes but we have no cars mate".. i asked why accept the booking , i needed to take a £40 taxi ride to get this scheduled car pickup and he just said we will cancel it...Ofcourse they still charged me and I now have to go through Booking.com to get my money back. If you would like more particulars I an happy to provide BUT whatever you do DONT USE THIS LITTLE RATHOLE..

Came up to Scotland and used Drivalia…

Came up to Scotland and used Drivalia for the first time. Was originally quoted a £1000 pounds refundable deposit if the vehicle was returned in the condition I received it in. £65 pounds for the four days rental in total. The gentleman I dealt with on the phone originally before collecting the vehicle is either a scam artist or a complete numbskull and needs to go back to school to learn how to count properly, there's a big difference between £1000 and £1500 (deposit). Ended up paying £275 for the four days without the deposit. When I got to the premises to collect the vehicle I got the correct information.I would like to thank Enisa for her professionalism and problem solving skills as I would been stranded if it wasn't for her. Enisa gets a five star rating from me but as for Drivalia the actual company, you should stand corrected and stop trying to con your customers as this is fraudulent business practice and you should be held accountable. Won't use them again but it was a pleasure dealing with Enisa. Thank you Enisa for your great service you're a five star 😊

If I could give them 0 stars I would - avoid these cowboys…

If I could give them 0 stars I would have. When collecting the car, I asked where the key was; I was told it was in the car and with the engine running (and after the long wait thus far), we jumped in and drove off. When we arrived 80 mins later at our destination, no sign of any key. We searched the car but no sign - the key wasn't there so couldn't restart the car. We called Drivalia and after a long wait we got through and told the story. The first Drivalia employee suggested I call the tow truck and sit in it all the way back to the Drivalia office (80 mins+ away remember) in order to get the keys. In fairness the second employee recognised this to be ludicrous and said the keys would be dropped to the hotel in the next couple of hours. It was now 6pm on the Friday evening of our 2-night stay so we waited and waited and waited...until 8.30pm and still no sign. Our hotel was about 10 minutes drive from the nearest town so we called Drivalia who said we could get Uber, keep the receipts and they'd reimburse us for their mistake. Happy days. We got back from dinner around 10.30 and still no sign of the keys (they eventually arrived about midnight). I sent the recipts the next morning (July 19th), was told money would be refunded to me in 3-5 days. When we dropped the car back to Drivalia the next day, was told again 3-5 days for refund. A week later and no sign so I texted Drivalia and was then told actually it was a 6 step process for a refund and mine was only on the 3rd and anyway, it can take weeks. No arguments from me, so left it. Still hadn't heard anything so on 13/08 I texted and asked about it - no reply. On 19/08 I texted a follow-up and again no reply. My last message simply said "Hi, can I get an update here please? I would rather not have to pick up the phone and/or take to social media about this desperately poor customer service. But that's my next step if this doesn't get resolved asap." No response; tried calling and rang out (as it usually does), Been over a month since their blooper, since I was told 3-5 days for my refund, 3.5 weeks since I got the 6-step process nonense and not a single word ro rersponse since. AVOID THESE COWBOYS LIKE THE PLAGUE

Horrible experience during our Scotland trip

We rented the car for our Scotland trip in July 2025. The car rental facility isn't in the airport. If you are an international traveler, it is very difficult to get in touch to request shuttle service as they don't have dedicated phone line in the Scotland airports. We almost missed our flight due to non-availability of staff during drop off. They didn't provide us shuttle to airport and location was so remote that uber wouldn't come to that location. Also, International insurance doesn't hold good, and their insurance prices were very high starting 90 GBP to 250 GBP depending on the coverage.
