Drivalia continues its policy of ignoring complaints and being hard to reach Refer my earlier correspondence on October 21 referencing a complaint from a hire on July 23 where fault has been admitted by Drivalia ( yes we did rent you a car without an oil cap being fitted) compensation was offered and accepted and nothing has been heard from them since ! Do not trust them the prices look great but the heartache and inconvenience goes on for ever ,because they don’t answer phones or emails nor do they compensate when they say that they will

Left stranded

The reviews on their Google are fake, as a member of staff was able to tell me they are encouraged by the company to get family and themselves to put positive reviews up when they get a negative one to bump it down. I hired a car with this company, and what I can say is that it was the worst service I have ever had. I arrived at Leeds Bradford airport and called the number provided to arrange the shuttle. The number was presented as a busy line. I decided to go to the car hire village and collect the car. I was advised to call the booking line to inform Driviala that I was at the car hire village, and their phone lines were not working. I talked to Alex and he told me I would be collected from the Avis office. I waited for over an hour and no one arrived. I then called back, and the office was closed. I am still fighting for a refund. I was left stranded at 6.30pm with two babies and had been contacting them since 4.30pm. There has been no apology nothing. Do not use this company

Do not use!!!!!! Total scam. All positive reviews are fake. Have you noticed as soon as there is a negative review new positive reviews will appear to dump the negative reviews down the list.We paid for a car and when we arrived the phone lines were not working and No one was at the office. We were left stranded and then closed there office. we had no way of getting to our destination. We have requested a refund and heard nothing back. The only communication we have got is to a review. Their reply is nothing but a cut and paste reply for us to report the issue on their portal which we have done and heard nothing back. This reply to the reviews are just for show to try and present to customers that they have tried to resolve the issue but you hear nothing!!!Total scam!!!!!! Watch how new all of a sudden positive reviews appear after this (they have their staff and friends create accounts and submit fake reviews)

The car that we ordered was not…

The car that we ordered was not available on the day that were supposed to collect it and they made us pay additional £50/day for a different car that they provided when clearly it wasn’t our fault. Staff not helpful and not welcoming.

Drivalia, Edinburgh scam

I had a terrible experience with Drivalia in Edinburgh.Our flight was delayed, and when I arrived late at night, I was told the next day that the car I had prepaid for (a generic category, not a specific car) had been given to someone else. Instead of honoring my booking, they demanded I pay the full price again for another car.This is completely unacceptable and shows zero reliability.I worry that my prepaid money was not handled properly, and I have no transparency on where it went.

Carlisle rental tyre puncture

We rented a car in Carlisle, it was clean and was fine for our needs. Unfortunately we had a flat tire but there was no spare tire and only a can of puncture foam. We waited 2 hours for the repair truck to arrive. He told us that the tire was worn out and should never have been on the car. The people at Drivalia were at first unwilling to cover my costs as I had not bought the insurance. After showing them the worn out tire, however, they promptly reimbursed the costs. Lesson 1: don’t leave the shop unless they give you a spare tire. Lesson 2: Drivalia was quite reasonable to deal with once they understood the issue.

Customer service was very pushy

Customer service was very pushy. Desperate to sign forms. Was told I needed protection even when I stated already purchased the sum of £870 was stated I would receive back upon return of car. That was in August and nothing was sent email which is disgusting that I enjoyed the car I won’t be getting my £870 back. Definitely scam and commission driven. Around shocking company dont go near unless you want to loose your money. Management don’t care.
