Disastrous rental experience

I rented a car in New York for a week. Initially, they tried to sell me insurance for $450, later lowering it to $250. Upon returning the car full and in good shape, they promised a deposit refund within two weeks. Five weeks later, still no refund. They claimed to deduct $137 for tolls but didn't return the remaining amount. Despite multiple attempts to contact them, they ceased all communication. I cannot recommend this service, especially since they pressure you into buying expensive insurance.

From start to finish, my experience was terrible. It took over 90 minutes to leave the parking lot after arriving. When I requested to extend my reservation by one day due to a snowstorm, I was quoted an outrageous fee of $800. While I understand reasonable charges, this was exploitative given the circumstances.

Highly trustworthy service

This place is fantastic! They noticed a crack in the windshield that I hadn't seen and could have charged me a hefty fee for a replacement. Instead, they were honest about the pre-existing damage and changed the car at no cost. A business you can fully trust!

Extremely poor service

Everything about this place was terrible! After arriving at the airport, we waited 20-25 minutes in the cold for the shuttle. Upon check-in, they claimed my credit was denied despite my good credit history and canceled my reservation without any effort to assist. My husband tried to book under his name, but they increased the price and added unexpected fees. The counter staff were unhelpful and dismissive. The only positive was that the car was brand new, but we paid for that upgrade without prior notice.

Caution with this service at LGA

We booked a car this morning and waited 50 minutes without assistance. Others who arrived after us got their rentals while we remained in limbo. When I sought help, the staff were dismissive, and after a confrontation, they canceled our reservation claiming we were disrespectful. They lied about contacting us and offered no resolution. Beware of this service; they are untrustworthy.

Avoid this rental service

Steer clear of this place. You truly get what you pay for. It took nearly two hours from landing to getting my rental car, involving a long walk, a train, and a bus. At the desk, they demanded extensive proof of insurance and attempted to upsell me. The car itself had a strong smoke odor and a cigarette burn in the back seat. After driving off, I discovered low tire pressure in all tires. I had to return the car early to accommodate the shuttle delays. I strongly advise against renting here.
