I changed the front suspension on my old Mercedes A class and wanted to have the alignment checked (castor, camber and tracking). A forum recommended Discount Tyres Direct and going there from Purley was well worth the trip. They have all the ‘toys’ and did the job in about an hour. They produced a ‘before and after’ computer readout and the car felt like new. Interestingly, other customers in the waiting room also spoke very highly of this firm. I will use again when I need new tyres.
I had two new Hankook tyres fitted last week on my CMax replacing two Michelin tyres.Driving the car, post the new tyres, I found the tyres created a lot of road noise, certainly louder than the previous Michelin tyres I had on the front of the car.I returned to Discount Tyres and explained the situation. As ever I was treated well. My car was then taken on a test drive to confirm the tyre noise. Alas on return the noise could not be found. It was decided to change my front wheels with my rear wheels which was done free of charge. I have driven the car home and found the noise has been reduced somewhat. In future I will purchase tyres I know and those which have served me well in the past. Discount Tyres could not have been fairer over this issue.
This is an amazing find , From the moment I booked my appointment I was looked after,I can’t fault this local company’s customer service …….They have a brilliant team have good advise and were very price competitive. I had 2 new tyres fitted and wheels tracked a month ago, their service is professional and quick. Unfortunately last night I had a blow out on the asaid tyre, (I only do under 200 miles a year), as I was working my husband took the tyre back, they exchanged the tyre without any quibble. Thank you direct tyres, we, my friends and family will be back.
I had a tyre blow out on me and got directed here by a friend who recommended it to me. Obviously it was a last minute decision so a little unsure what to expect based on previous experiences with other companies, but, this visit was poles apart from my others! They were so accommodating, understanding and efficient. It really did make getting new tyres a pleasurable experience. I can not recommend this company enough and I will certainly be sending anyone I know to them! Thank you! 😊
