I shouldn't even rate it one single star because ebay has 0 respect for their "valued" sellers! They ALWAYS decide in favour of the buyers even when they aren't right, and the buyers know that so they use and abuse their rights as buyers. On all other platforms, the buyers AND sellers are entitled to a full refund in case of loss or damage during transit. On eBay, they don't even try to contact the transport company, they simply charge the seller and force them to refund or pay for return shipping fees in case the buyer decides he doesn't want the item anymore or alleges it's faulty, used or fake! Most buyers try to keep the item but open claims with false allegations. When a buyer opens a claim for a delayed delivery, they automatically assume it's lost and force the seller to fully refund the buyers without even trying to contact the transport company or the seller to know what is happening! What a scam! What a complete lack of respect! That is why they are losing clients everyday!
Absolutely abysmal. After creating an account I was immediately banned. No reason is given and trying to email them just gives you back the same generic non-informative response.Obviously I was not welcome there. Whatever. But then they also refuse to delete my account. Meaning my personal information is now stored for absolutely no reason on some random service that refuses to provide me any service at all.Avoid this website at all cost. If anything goes wrong outside of your control, you're basically screwed with them. Forever.
Opened my account a month ago, never purchased or sold any items, but I've just been browsing and adding things to watch list.Recently received an email saying my account was permanently suspended with no way to appeal or request the reasons for my suspension.I'm now permanently banned from using Ebay forever without a given reason.Just hilarious to me! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Years ago I heard about excellent reputation of the eBay platform, where privates can sell their items with a decent third-party system, that ensure the seller get money and the buyer get what he wants.I don’t noticed when it changed, but in 2022, it is a platform with the worst support I ever seen. You are not protected anyhow, even if you see it is all secure to buy, and eBay will care everything goes smooth. If something happens, like with me two times, they will simply not read the description of the problem, simply send it to the seller, and if he will not want, he will not do anything. Like that the support of an order will be closed. No human interaction at all. You simply have to deal with the seller. In total with ebay I have lost 700 eur approximately. No more deals with ebay. For me it is over. I will spend my energy and retell all stories I have experienced with ebay, so that they will not use it. I really hope they go bankrupt.
Very disappointed with slow reaction of Ebay to resolve an issue of non delivery of purchase item. The seller says they tried to refund and it failed, thus is nonsense. The seller stated Ebay would make the refund ,why, I don't know. The slow reaction from Ebay and the seller will make me think again before using Ebay to buy anything. There is supposed to be a guarantee but I have seen no evidence of it yet. Impossible to contact Ebay except through their automated responses.Finally, a promise by Ebay to refund the purchase price, not before time, this doesn't excuse dishonest sellers!!!
