Frustrating Phone Service Transition

I switched to a new service to keep my home phone number from 1980. The installation was done, but I've now been without incoming or outgoing calls for 10 days. I'm paying for a service I don't have. As a 75-year-old, phone service is critical for me. I've contacted the support team, but they couldn't provide any information on when the issue would be resolved.

Phone Service Still Not Functioning After 10 Days

I switched from my previous provider to a new service to keep my home phone number from 1980. The installation was completed, but it's been 10 days without any incoming or outgoing calls. I continue to pay for a service that I do not have. As a 75-year-old, I rely on phone service. I've contacted the support team, but they couldn't give me any information on when the issue will be fixed.

Extremely Disappointing Experience

I would rate this experience negatively if possible. They missed two appointments to set up the internet, which led me to cancel and return the modem. Now, they only offer a refund via check instead of my credit card, which takes two months? I had to call multiple times to voice my complaints because they kept disconnecting me. It's hard to believe how these unreliable internet companies remain operational. What a scam!

Low Price Not Worth the Poor Service

The lower price isn't worth the awful customer service. Missed appointments, no updates or communication, just one very dissatisfied former customer.

Deceptive Practices

I returned the equipment after they couldn't install it. After several calls and emails, I received a series of misleading responses about the refund process: claims it would take 5 weeks, then 8-10 weeks, and now 12 weeks. They said the refund would go back to my credit card, but then claimed no record of that conversation. They even mentioned checks being sent that were never delivered. Avoid this dishonest company at all costs!

Underwhelming Internet Speed

Terrible experience! They promise 500 Mbps but consistently underdeliver. The internet works fine only if one person is right next to the modem. In any other scenario, the speed drops significantly, especially in a household with multiple users. It becomes incredibly frustrating. I do not recommend this service.

Frustrating Support Experience

As a new user of internet and TV, I faced issues with my service two weeks after installation. After a long wait on the phone, I was disconnected. I spoke to an agent who asked for unnecessary details when I just wanted help getting my service to work again. After another call, I received a callback from the same agent, who apologized and resolved the issue. However, my overall experience with customer service was unsatisfactory, leading to a one-star rating.

Lack of Customer Care

This company lacks any sense of customer service. Representatives do not listen or address your concerns. They overcharged me by removing a credit that was part of my plan for over a decade. Despite numerous emails and calls to rectify this simple mistake, they kept discussing unrelated issues. After waiting an hour for a call, they connected me to the wrong department repeatedly, hoping I would give up. They promised a manager would call back, but that never happened. Avoid this company at all costs.

Poor Installation and Service

Terrible service! It took 7-10 days for the wifi modem to be installed. Everything was fine until a month later when they failed to process my second bill payment. They blamed the installation technician and disconnected my service without notice. After spending hours on the phone, the only solution offered was to create a new account and restart the waiting period for installation. The customer service agents provided inconsistent reasons for the issues I faced. They even called from a number I couldn't return, appearing as a scam call on my caller ID. I will not use this service again.
