I travelled 12 times with Egyptair. All of them were great. Comfortable seats and nice meals. However, i was let down one time, while i was traveling back to Cairo from Barcelona. The air conditioner was terribly cold. I was freezing and I didn't know what to do. I asked for a blanket, but the air hostess said they ran out of them. The customer care sent me an email to ask me about my experience and i told them in detail. They apologized and offered me a discount on my next flight. Overall my experience with them was good.
We were without explanation taken out from the plane just before departure due to overbooking. Had to wait for 8 hours with bad food. When we finally arrived at destination our luggage was missing. All the time no help at all.

To make matters worse, the manager on duty responded to our concerns by raising his voice at us, demonstrating a complete disregard for customer service. This behavior is inappropriate for any service environment, particularly for a company with such a reputation. This experience has left me with a very negative impression and has significantly impacted my trust in the airline. Due to this incident, I am deeply disappointed and reconsidering my future travel plans with this airline. I hope this complaint is taken seriously and that a thorough investigation is conducted. Steer clear of this airline! Upon arrival, my luggage was damaged and its contents were scattered everywhere. When I attempted to contact customer service, I was only given fake or invalid contact numbers. The only number that connects is set to keep you on hold for exactly two hours before cutting off without any notice. I have evidence of this. If you choose to fly with them, be aware that there's no reliable way to contact them in case of issues. Fly with this airline at your own risk!
I had a very poor transit experience with the airline and the airport. Customer service was lacking, and the schedule was consistently late. The airport had no seating available, and everything felt disorganized. This airline used to be good, but not anymore.
Flight MS779 from Cairo to London on November 24, 2025 was the worst flying experience. There is no online check-in available, and seat reservation or booking is not permitted. Economy seats are very uncomfortable with no legroom. I wanted to upgrade to Business Class, but despite two empty seats, none were available for purchase.
This was an extremely disappointing experience for me. The staff was rude and condescending, even yelling at customers for requesting blankets and drinks. The seats were uncomfortable, and the food was inedible. I will never fly with them again.
