Review Time
I moved into my beautiful new flat a month ago today thanks to sterling work from Elliotts, who I cannot recommend highly enough. I decided to sell my house with Elliotts after meeting Brian, being impressed with his extensive knowledge of the local market and totally professional attitude. Prior to marketing my property, everybody involved in the sale visited to learn its features and idiosyncrasies. The brochure produced was outstanding with excellent photographs - none of the wide angled distortions so often seen. After many viewings over the following weekend, I accepted one of the eight serious offers, a week after going onto the market.Unfortunately I wasn't able to proceed with the flat I had been hoping to buy, but Steve came to the rescue and found me a flat that met more of my requirements than the original property. From this point on Steve was my main man, managing the sell and buy. For various reasons, the process became more convoluted than it should've been, but Steve was on top of everything and provided me with the help and support I needed. His communication was exemplary, keeping me in the picture at all times. He also managed my expectations, letting me know next steps and when he would be in touch again - which he always was. There were so many groundhog days that it felt at times it might never happen, but Steve persevered, maintaining his professionalism, enthusiasm and optimism (plus my mental health) to successfully complete. Thank you, Steve.Everybody in the Elliotts team is great; welcoming, friendly and helpful, whether on the phone, in the office, or just on passing on the street. I recommend them without hesitation; three of my friends are currently selling their properties with them.
Symon and the team were very helpful in chasing the solicitors and having a handle on all the moving parts. The wider team were also helpful and found out all the information we needed when our lead estate agent was away. They were also proactive in calling us which is much better than chasing for answers so good job Elliotts!
I bought a flat through Elliotts Estate Agents as a first time buyer in Spring / Summer 2022. Throughout the process their communication was excellent, I received frequent update emails from Symon and Ben which meant I was kept well informed and was aware of any blockers. I was keen to complete as quickly as possible but my solicitor was very slow and making excuses. Elliotts were great at helping me chase her and letting me know when the vendor's solicitors had sent documentation / emails so I when I chased my solicitor I knew exactly how long she was taking to complete a task. This meant I probably completed a few weeks earlier than I otherwise would have, saving me money. Lastly, whenever I wanted access to the property after my offer was accepted (to measure the flat etc.) Elliotts always responded to my email within a few hours and were happy to accommodate. I will probably use Elliotts as my estate agents if / when I eventually sell my flat.

They are always available to speak and update you on processes and most importantly for us extremely trustworthy and have always acted in our best interests
House selling is never easy and what you really need are a team that give you honest, helpful advice and help. Elliott’s excelled in all areas of the process and despite being involved in a sometimes, for us, tortuous process of delay and frustration they were never anything less than professional and positive. We would not hesitate to use them again.
We had a very prolonged property purchase process and Symon and Jordan and Sally were helpful throughout. We’ve worked with many estate agents in the UK over the years and Elliotts have been at the top for family business feel and personable follow through. Highly recommended.
