No longer the best. Now they are the worse airline. Appalling.

Never again. Took off an hour late from Manchester airport. Couldn’t believe how many people could be packed on. Not one empty seat. A thousand people, but not enough staff or supplies for everyone . No red wine, no beer, no white wine. Paid £3500 for seats. Pressed the bell approx 5 times before someone came. Told them the tv was not working. Nothing. Pressed the bell again and again. Eventually came and did something. Travelled from Manchester to Perth. Managed to get one g & t. Not one drinks round apart from soft drinks. Please take lots of water as there is practically no service apart from food. You will get dehydrated. Snacks. cheese pastry or lemon cake 😂😂 unbelievable. I have had much better treatment and service with Jet2 when I pain £150 a ticket. This company no longer care about their customers, but are still charging ridiculous prices. On the Dubai to Perth flight they ran out of scrambled egg for breakfast and only had omelette 😂😂 not enough crew for the number If passengers and they don’t care. Use another flight company.

They make big issue over weight

The make big issue over weight, ie , if you have a hand baggage that is excess weight they make sure you throw out all, unless they will not let you boarding. It’s big hassle to fly with them you need to fear of baggage weight all the time. Even in connecting flight you will be checked. How cheap to make money. In weight ratio man and woman are not same all the time.Especially for women you could have been little bit relaxed.

Disappointing customer service

My partner and I booked our flight tickets late at night. We realised soon after that we had booked the incorrect time, however a day later. It was around midnight at this point and we agreed that we would call the next day to rectify this. We called the customer helpline first thing in the morning and were told by the representative that if a booking isn't changed within the first 6 hours then we had to pay a fee of £400. This was not stated on the website, nor was it clear if their customer service telephone line was available at that time. We politely asked to speak to a supervisor, only to be cut off! We had to call again and the second representative was also just as unhelpful. We are now not looking forward to flying with Emirates and will not be booking with them in the future.

Pathetic Delhi Airport staff and their services

On 12/1/2022, on route Del-Dubai-DFW, I was denied boarding as Delhi Airport Staff did not accepted my USA Advance Parole document as a valid travel document. I reached Delhi Airport at around 5 PM IST for 9:25 Pm flight on 12/1/2022 and presented below documents for myself, Spouse and 2 Kids aged (18 Months and 5.10 Yrs) 1. Passport (myself, Spouse and 2 Kids aged (18 Months and 5.10 Yrs) 2. Advance Parole(Travel Authorization) form 512L (myself, Spouse) 3. Approved Form 131 (myself, Spouse) 4. EAD card (myself, Spouse) 5. OCI (2 Kids aged (18 Months and 5.10 Yrs)) Someone designated as manager took all the documents and went inside airport, after waiting for good 3 hours and multiple follow ups to my surprise I was told form 512L is not valid travel document, I told Airport staff that it is valid and also listed on Emirates Website and USCIS website but they rudely denied boarding. I was challenged if any other airlines allow them to board they will offer free business class tickets, i went to following airlines Air India, Etihad, United, American Airlines, Singapore Airlines and everyone was accepting for 512L as valid travel document but emirates staff didn't listen. I tried to show them Emirates webpage for Indian Traveling to USA on VISA exempted category and USCIS link but they again denied stating they don’t have time to go through web sites. Exhausted to core with 2 tires and hungry kids I was asked to leave airport as Emirates flight has already departed while I was figuring out with other airlines but all in vein. I called US Emirates Customer Care and India Customer care and was given an email ID "ticketpancard-at-emirates-dot-com" to send the document their and report my issue which I did. for next 24 hours I called multiple times to get this sorted out and finally on 12/2 around 7 PM i was told that I have valid travel document and issue has been resolved(I don’t know where was the issue in first place) and I can fly next available flight. To my surprise I was told to pay $2348.66 as fare difference as Delhi Airport staff has put a note as “No Show”(this is again incorrect). You have CCTV cameras at checkin counter and you can verify that. With all my energy gone, kids feeling sick, I decided to pay and travel back to USA. In summary 1. Your Airport staff do not had enough knowledge on Advance Parole travel authorization document for USA travel 2. No empathy to resolve issue even seeing my young kids 3. First reported VISA issue when they found it they are wrong they reported me “no show” 4. I was forced to pay $2348.66 on top of airfare which I already paid. instead of accepting their own mistake and giving appropriate compensation i was forced to pay of no mistake of mine. You can trace all my call logs from 2 numbers, my email ID & Booking ref: finally which has all the notes.I am still under immense mental trauma, and financial loss because of your Delhi Airport staff. I am seeking appropriate action to be taken and need my full refund back along with appropriate compensation asap. Because of your select few Delhi staff behavior I am sorry to write this negative review as I am left with no other options

Emirates refuse to refund paying customers.

I travelled to Dubai recently with Emirates and upgraded to Business Class as a special experience for my partners birthday, they make out you will be treated with the best service and all of the perks - how incorrect. We were told "you" can't access the lounges, although all other business class customer's were, no explanation was given. Onboarding the flight there was no welcome, no pleasantries just pointed at the section to find our seats, we then sat down and watched as everyone was offered welcome drinks, except us. My partner eventually got one yet I did not, we asked why this was on 3/4 occasions and were told to wait. My partner then asked specifically if I could have a drink and the lady walked past twice with a full tray of drinks. Parched at this point, I thought surely I can't ask again but realising I had paid a lot of money for this experience I did, finally got a drink and before I could even drink it another hostess said "I need to take it back now we're taking off" seeing the look on my face she said I will bring it back... It never came back. We were told we would have food within 40 minutes, didn't happen. When the food did arrive it took so long to clear the plates we literally had 2 hours to get some sleep and then were told we had to sit up an hour before we landed. Again no tea or coffee was offered we had to ask but other passengers didnt. I have now raised a complaint LON/X/ZC/041222/7836108 and Emirates are refusing a refund, they simply keep trying to palm me off with airmiles I will NEVER use. This needs addressing, I cannot believe how many people are in this position.

Raising the bar

Well, in addition to the companies that have upset me, I have to give credit to the companies that have raised my bar. And one of those companies is Emirates. I've been working at sea for the last three years and I've had to fly a lot, I've done about 25 international flights in that time and 4 of them were done by this airline. I like literally everything about them : The beautiful and neat look of the flight attendants. The English is excellent, but they also have stewards who speak several languages at once.That could not help but make a separate impression on me. Okay, I won't point out other important details, such as comfortable seats with built-in touch screens that have a variety of content in many languages and music, probably to suit any taste.Throughout the entire flight, I was taken care of as if I was their number one customer in the whole world.By the way, before I had to fly with their airline, I heard somewhere that you can't order alcohol on the plane. That's not true. You can order any kind of alcohol you want there. On top of that, I really like the soothing light that comes on, after all the announcements. (Yes, I know some other airlines have this as well, but I really love this little thing, and just can't help but notice it) The airplanes give out plaids, comfortable headphones, and little pads for more comfort. Anyway, guys, I know that most likely those who were involved in my flights won't read this review. But I just want to say a heartfelt thank you to the people who have built such infrastructure that left me with such pleasant impressions. Unfortunately, not many airlines can boast of the same level of service.Overall, my impression of Emirates is extremely positive. I will definitely be flying this airline again. The same impression I have of the Arab Emirates itself, though my experience is limited to Dubai.

Great service, great staff.

HiMy wife and I went to the Seychelles with Emirates on 21 Nov. 22.We missed our flight due to not being allowed to check in as we had no knowledge of a health form we had to fill in.I filled this in at the airport online but was 10 mins. Late for check in.Having been rebooked, to fly the next day, our tickets could not be issued as the ticket from previous day had not been issued.Eventually it was sorted out.None of this was Emirates fault, it was our travel agents and our own.Emirates check in staff were excellent at Manchester, they acted correctly and really tried to help us to sort out our trip.Jade ,Emirates check in boss was tremendous sorting out the 2 days mix upsOur thanks go out to Jade and all the check in staff at Manchester ,who tried to help us.The flight both ways was excellent , as usual.Best airline in the sky.Thank you very much.

we often fly with the emirates and we have always had a good time, but this time they changed the schedule of a flight which forced us to wait for 9.30 hours at the dubai airport, now I can accept it from a low cost, but not from a company like EmiratesI bad preview sorry

Emirates Awful service and response to complaint

Emirates Awful service and response to complaints. Awaiting some my refund. Paid for overweight on my Stansted to Wellington flight 560 pounds Sterlings. The on my transit through Melbourn had to pay again.$ 250 AUS. Also my flights was changed therefore delayed and I had to overnight in Dudai and Melbourn hotel fee at my expense. Sent a complaint form no refund yet.
