Every year these crooks are increasing by the bills, every single year!!! Stay away from this company. We have water tank rental with them and a couple of months ago also got the water filtration system. So 2 months later after the purchase they increased the cost. Unacceptable!
Please DO NOT sign up, for Enercare's Protection Plan for Furnace or Air-Condition. Speciously, Do Not enrolled into promotions... free for 12 months. Enercare will send the technicians upon customers' request if any issues arise to diagnose and fix Furnace or Air-Condition as part of their maintenance plan, BUT "be Cautious," that you might take a significant risk of loosing your entire unit. Most of the time technicians declare,"Fail to Operate" during inspection, more over, suggest you to fix with larger bills or even try to convince to buy and install their own units for profit. In addition, customer service will continue to bill you even after the free promotion has over. Even though, you have called and cancel the services before your term ends. Enercare customer service team members are well trained to not to follow proper protocols.... even on their managerial level....SCAM SCAM SCAM.
Curtis was very polite from his call to let me know he was on his way to his work on my furnace. He gave me a full review when he completed the clean. Then gathered his equipment and departed.

Got hot water tank exchanged with a reliance tank in November . When I got maintence done on my furnace and was suggested to do so ,as it was rusting and old . Anyway , I got told I would also get a $1000 prepaid Mastercard .
First there was an Miscommunication on whether my 2 tanks were exchanged . That took a couple months of reliance and Enercare not knowing if my old tank was dropped off . Then finally that was taken care of . Then my contract with Enercare was lost and I couldn’t get the prepaid Mastercard until it was found .
They did an “ investigation “ and apparantly found it . It’s now the middle of February , and still no Mastercard. . They told me it would take up to 12 business days to get in the mail . I’m still waiting …..
Horribly frustrating experience . Too many calls to them to get no answers .
They need to be trained better .
Communication sucks .
Never again .
Worst company to deal with. Enercare has the worst service because they really don't care.
During the snowstorm last week I was left without heat for 2 n8ghts and 3 days.
Finally the technician came and fixed the heating and left.
Today 2 days later the heating dies again.
I called and got an appt for 12-2pm.
Nobody shows up. No call, no courtesy, nothong.
Then I get an email that my appt id now on Sunday. Today is Friday. So now another 2 freezing nights.
Every call goes to agents in columbia and of course they all tell you they are sorry but hnfortunately cannot do anything. How convenient.
We have the protection plan and still get this shit service.
No phone numbers can be found for Victoria Tam or anyone else on the internet and her slogan of we Treat your home like ours is a LOAD of BS. SHE DOES NOT CARE EITHER.
Enercare should change its name to Enercare does not care.

We realized around 6pm house was cold and our heater stopped heating. Called Enercare as we have a protection and maintenance plan that we pay for every month.
After almost an hour of holding on an agent Daniel answers. Told him house was freezing and we are 2 seniors. He Says earliest appt for technician to come is between 8am-12noon tomorrow. We requested heaters to be sent to warm house tonight and he promised someone would bring heaters by 9pm. At 11pm no heaters arrived.
Called again and another hour of waiting Juan answers only to say sorry no heaters are being sent and technician will come tomorrow and I cannot talk to anyone else either.
That was it.
Enercare has no concern or cate for their customers

I got an alert message on my ECOBEE thermostat saying there might be a problem with my furnace/boiler heating and the room temperature was not able to go up to my pre-set temperature and there was simply no heat coming out from vent at all. I immediately logged on to my Enercare account and was able to book an appointment next day.
I am very impressed by the dedicated, professional, excellent and knowledgeable service provided by the technician Mr. Mohammed Wasay. Today, we are experiencing a major snow storm and was told to likely get up to 25-35 cm of snow. Mr. Wasay came within the appointment window dispute the snowy weather and difficult road conditions. He listened to my concerns very carefully then he explained to me very clearly of the potential problems. He carefully checked everything and ensuring the problem is fixed and all my concerns and questions were answered.
I am truly gratefully in choosing Enercare as my service provider for my entire house to ensure everything is good and running all year round. As there technicians are highly trained, professional and dedicated. Thank you!!

Long waiting time for call probably more than 6 hours the prices are so high and there is no customer service for emergency cases our pipes were frozen I called more than 5 hours no one answered. So awful even one star is too much in my idea
We had a home protection plan covering heating, cooling, and plumbing. Each time we reach out for help with our furnace, the technicians always claim it's too old to repair. When we call about plumbing issues related to the furnace, they dismiss it as not their responsibility. Recently, we faced another leak from our washing machine into the pipe. The plumber did nothing and simply suggested we contact a contractor to clear the pipe. Shouldn't that be part of their duties? The plumber didn't even attempt to use the snake tool. Unmotivated staff and extremely unprofessional.
Our initial appointment to repair the kitchen sink was cancelled, which was frustrating since we had prepared extensively. They scheduled a new appointment but initially got the timing wrong, which required correction. I gave 4 stars due to these scheduling issues. However, the plumber arrived promptly and assessed the problem. She provided a solution along with a cost estimate and presented a service plan that we agreed to. She completed the job and left the area immaculate. This professional clearly knew her trade and did an excellent job on the kitchen sink drains. The plumber was courteous and executed the task like a true expert. Well done!
