I bought a 'new' hardback from this company, intending it as a gift. It arrived with extensive notes and underlinings in biro. I sent it back and asked for a refund but have only been fobbed off in response and no refund has arrived. In my opinion, this company is completely dishonest and recommend others avoid it like the plague.
I purchased a bible from this seller on Amazon in August 2025. I received the bible and it was secondhand. There were a couple of writings on the inside cover. I noticed an odd transaction on my bank account 2 days later from UBER for small amount, i.e under a pound, I have not used UBER for over a year. This amount was in my pending transactions on my bank statement but then disappeared 4 days later. I never heard from the seller regarding payment for the book which would have come out of my account automatically. I am assuming it had something to do with the Uber transaction. It is now over 2 months and it seems that the seller was a scammer as they never contacted me for payment. His loss not mine. The book was for £36.36
I contacted ergobooks last week to inquire about where the book which I ordered was, they never responded. Today, after 3 weeks the book finally arrived. However, it's not the book which was ordered (an older edition, without the videos necessary for this study was sent). Very disappointed in this company.
Absolute scamming rats. I bought a book off amazon on the 9th of June from them. It is still not here despite numerous messages and back and forth with amazon so now weeks wasted and being left out of pocket all this time amazon have forced a refund from them and are now investigating. Avoid these scamming pigs.
I agree with the reviews I see here on the dishonesty of this book seller. I ordered a book on dream interpretation after listening to a lecture on YouTube that mentioned the book. The book was $10 when I ordered it. I assume there were quite a few people who listened to the same lecture and then ordered the book because several days later my order was canceled without explanation. I emailed to inquire why and received nonsensical answers like the book that they had in stock didn’t meet their quality standards. I checked the website and saw that the book was on there and now they were charging $25 for it. I emailed them back to let them know that I was fine with whatever the quality was and they should please send me the book. They replied that the book was out of stock. I have requested they honor The purchase that I made in good faith andsend me the book when it comes back in stock. I will Keep an eye on the website and update here if that ever happens.
I ordered a 90 USD book that was never delivered. They then lie about having sent several emails to confirm reception of the item, and also claim that they do not find any records of the missing shipment (about 6 months after the purchase). Avoid this company!
