Review Time
I bought a book listed as first edition first print. I received a book club edition of the book I paid for with dry hardened stickers that it looked like someone had already tried to remove and failed. I asked to return the book for a refund. I was told it was sold by ISBN and that I received the correct ISBN even after sending pictures of the book with no number line, book club hallmarks and nasty dried stickers. No refund was issued.
Bought book through Amazon. After waiting couple of weeks for it when it arrived it was damaged. Probably caused by Customs opening package. It was only when Amazon stepped in that I got my refund for the book. It took another 2 weeks to get compensated for the postage to return it. Again through Amazon. All I ever got from Ergode were standard letters promising action which never happened. I wouldn't ever use them again.
Scam sellers posting random cheap items do that it marks as delivered, nothing in box to say where it come from by the time you realise you have been scammed you no Linder have the box and the company have you in random conversations, they are absolutely aware of it and do nothing, stay clear from this company
Why would you only provide one bulb . I have been to numerous stores and tried to get another bulb to match the lamp in Australia. Extremy frustrating a waste of money and my time. I recommend to send 2 bulbs one for each lamp . Your customer service sucks.

September 18, 2025 I ordered 3 hardcover Washington Irving stories in a protective hard cover. When my order finally arrived the protective outer hardcover was broken, though the three hardcover storybooks were in excellent condition. However, as I wanted to pass this set down to my grandchildren I expected its illustrated hardcover to be in mint condition as no issues had been mentioned online at the time of ordering. I requested a replacement from Ergodebooks saying I'd return this set. Initially I received a 5% refund, but no offer of replacement. When I replied I wanted to return this set & have it replaced, they then offered a 20% refund. It became clear that they weren't going to replace the damaged set I purchased. I took photos which I submitted when requesting the replacement, but it didn't seem to matter. They aren't a responsible company, I'm sorry to say. I wish I'd read some online reviews & saved myself the cost and disappointment.
Beware, This is not a real company, there is no customer service or anyone working there to reach out to, you will not receive your books and will only waste time getting your bank to reverse the charge. I have been been looking for a hard to find book and in my excitement to see it listed I purchased it without researching this seller at all. They charged my card and I received a “shipped” email almost immediately. The book is very rare yet they still have the same one listed for sale at the same price after I bought it, which would not be likely at all. days went on and no tracking or status ever changed I started reaching out but there is no response on phone, chat, or email, just a loop with the chatbot asking for the order number. There is no book and there never was. Now I am just wasting time working with my bank on the chargeback.
