We had a water leak that caused damage to our floors and subfloor. The repairs are 100% covered by our policy. Should be a four week fix, but due to our Liberty Mutual/Safeco Rep named Brenden Jones is unfamiliar with our policy, unresponsive and has tried to deny our claim at multiple points during this now EIGHT MONTH process. We have had to fight him and his team at every turn and remind them that we are covered. We are good paying, honest customers and they are doing everything in their power to slow it down and not finish the job. We have lost the ability to live there for EIGHT MONTHS. It's completely unacceptable and I am disgusted by the level of service (or really lack there of).

A Supportive Experience After a Devastating Fire

My wife and I experienced a devastating house fire, and I had concerns from hearing about others' struggles with their insurance claims. However, our experience with the service was completely positive. They supported us from the day of the fire until we could return home, guiding us through the entire process from fire mitigation to reconstruction and collaboration with contractors. The representatives were very friendly and helpful, doing everything they could within the limits of our policy. Prior to the fire, I hadn't paid much attention to our policy, and I must admit I was pleasantly surprised to find that it covered nearly all essential needs related to our loss. We wholeheartedly recommend this service.

The worst insurance experience I've ever had!

This service has provided the most disappointing insurance experience! After a recent fire, we were led to believe that paying extra for replacement value would fully cover our contents. However, when we filed our claim, they only offered cash value, deducting depreciation, which is nowhere near what we need for replacements! We submitted over $170,000 worth of items, but they only want to pay $42,000. After numerous discussions, they suggested if we repurchase all the lost items and submit the receipts, we might receive additional funds. The issue is, we don’t have $100,000 to buy everything again—something they likely rely on. Isn’t that the purpose of insurance? I find their practices manipulative and dishonest, taking money for premiums while failing to uphold their promises. They should be ashamed for misleading clients about coverage and then abandoning them during claims. Their business model is deeply flawed, and I can't fathom how their representatives can rest easy at night. My family has a significant social media presence, and if we can't reach a fair resolution, I will dedicate myself to exposing how deceptive this service is. I will do everything in my power to ensure others are aware of their scam tactics!

This service has been the absolute worst insurance provider I've ever dealt with! After a recent fire, we were convinced that paying extra for replacement value would cover our contents completely. Poor communication and mishandling of claims.

Right after my recent accident, I filed a claim with the service. They insisted I had to cover my own rental car costs. I contacted our insurance broker, who confirmed we had $1,000 coverage for a rental. This was just the start of the mishandling, which included deception and incompetence. The official police report clearly stated the other party was at fault, but they claimed otherwise! They didn't even review the police report when investigating my accident. There were many other negative incidents with this claim that I won't detail here. Many others have shared similar frustrating experiences. We've asked our broker to find another insurance provider. Are they all this bad? Thank you for your attention...

Warning to potential clients!

I’m sharing my experience to caution others considering this insurance provider. My vehicle suffered suspension damage, and I took it to a dealership for inspection and repairs. The technicians confirmed that key suspension components were damaged and needed replacement. They explained that an alignment couldn't be done with damaged parts and that the type of damage was not due to normal wear and tear. However, the provider's adjuster claimed the damages were from wear and tear and stated that only an alignment was necessary, contradicting the dealership's findings. When I contested this, they requested the dealership's expert opinion, which confirmed the damage was not from wear and tear. After providing what they asked for, communication stalled, and my vehicle sat at the dealership for nearly a month awaiting a claim decision, with minimal response from them. The claim effectively stopped when a supervisor went on vacation. They ultimately denied coverage, relying solely on their own vendor’s opinion while disregarding qualified professionals. They later claimed they needed additional evidence, which was never requested initially. I expected timely communication and a fair evaluation of all evidence. Instead, I faced delays and poor communication. Based on my experience, I do not trust this provider to handle claims fairly. I strongly recommend that anyone considering them research claims-handling reviews thoroughly.

Completely unacceptable!

I've been waiting for three hours for roadside assistance, and it could take up to two more hours. I have ongoing health issues and urgently need to get home, but I'm stranded on the highway. I've called multiple times and been transferred, only to hear that someone would 'try' to speed things up. Nothing has changed. I'm confident that if we were late on our payments, they'd respond much faster! This is completely unacceptable.

Lack of transparency and support!

I tried to get information on my coverage for windshield repairs/replacements. The support team couldn't provide an answer and refused to connect me with someone who could, as their supervisor didn't know either. I also asked for a copy of my policy via email and never received it, leaving me still waiting to find out my deductible. They need to invest in better training for their support staff. Had I seen these reviews before switching, I could have avoided this provider altogether.
