It won’t let me leave less than 1 star. This company is an absolute joke. Had a lot of wind damage to my house. The adjuster showed up 5 hours late and dropped lie after lie why he was late including blaming our contractor. He refused to put over half of the damage on the claim and told us we needed to pay for the entire repair up front and submit copies of canceled checks.
Lucky for me we have free legal aid through my employer.

Terrible customer service designed to avoid paying what they owe and wasting your time.

Road side assistance always says they can’t see your coverage and that you’ll have to pay out of pocket and request reimbursement which will be near impossible to receive as you will have to spend hours waiting on hold and obtaining and emailing receipts and then following up repeatedly. This happened to me twice, same inconvenient process.

Unresponsive and Lazy

After my car wreck, I reached out and it took an agent a week to reply. The reason was "I'm very busy right now". They asked for a police report, which I sent, and that was the last I heard of them for 2 months. I had to personally call up and ask for information, and I got "Please send us the police report" and "We're still trying to reach a determination." Someone told me, if the other party is uninsured and you don't have Uninsured Coverage, the insurance company will drag their feet. I ultimately cancelled my policy after literally 4 months of no results. I lawyered up and got results immediately from what I assume is the other person's insurance. If you want cheap insurance to register your vehicle or so the cops don't bust you, then use these losers if they're the cheapest around. If you expect compensation and reponsiveness, however, find someone else.

Crooks, Pure and Simple

Esurance is yet another fraudulent company that not only offers nothing, but when you end your contract, they simply continue to take money out of your account. They stole over $700 from me, even when I no longer had a car. Yes, I know what you're thinking. “Get a Lawyer,” right? And yes, that’s good advice, but they have an army of lawyers, and in the end, it's their word against yours. I fail to understand why and how these fake companies can keep robbing people with no legal interception from anyone. One would think the Federal Trade Commission would look into it, but they don’t, and they don’t care either. Pathetic. At any rate, Esurance would not cover a simple thermostat, which is a part of the engine. The engine is the first thing covered in their program, and more so in their coverage, which I had. But, as any attorney worth their salt will tell you, “READ THE CONTRACT AND EVERY ADDENDUM THEREIN.” I did not read the fine details, which, by the way, are so small you need an electron microscope to read them. So, in the end, I was screwed yet again.EXAMPLE: Let’s say you’re covered for the air conditioning in your car. Okay, fine. The mechanic calls Esurance, and a claim is issued. But wait! They only cover the fuses in your air conditioner, and not the repair of the air conditioner itself. Oh, so sorry…you get ‘DECLINED.’ But of course, the worst part is that they kept withdrawing money from my account even when my car was totaled, and I ended the service with them. In my mind, this should be illegal…but not today. Not in America.BEWARE…BEWARE…BEWARE!Based on the provided search results, there have been several lawsuits filed against Esurance regarding their insurance practices, but these are primarily related to general auto insurance policies and claims, not specifically about Esurance vehicle service contracts or extended warranties. Examples of Lawsuits Against Esurance:• Class action regarding sales tax on totaled vehicles: A policyholder filed a class-action lawsuit claiming Esurance and its claims administrator failed to cover sales tax on totaled vehicles, despite policy terms.• PIP benefit termination during medical treatment: A proposed class action alleged Esurance improperly ended Personal Injury Protection (PIP) benefits once a policyholder was deemed to have reached "maximum medical improvement".• Underinsured motorist (UIM) claims and bad faith: A case involved a UIM claim where the plaintiffs contended Esurance failed to adequately investigate and make a reasonable offer, violating insurance regulations and acting in bad faith.• Collision coverage claims: A case from 2017 involved a dispute over a collision coverage claim, with the plaintiff alleging breach of contract and bad faith on the part of Esurance. Regarding Vehicle Service Contracts/Extended Warranties:• There's a mentioned class action lawsuit against Endurance Warranty Services, a third-party provider of Vehicle Service Contracts, which alleges delayed claim processing and unjustified denials of coverage. This lawsuit is not related to Esurance. Just don’t do it! They’re all crooks!

Bunch of scamworthy insurers.

This one was wild. I've had insurance coverage with these morons for quite a few years. As long as they have you under their customer belt, there shouldn't be much of an issue.Minor preface: I've never had any accidents, collisions, citations, or anything of any sort for the lifetime of my license history... I also have nearly perfect credit. With that said, I ended up having to go overseas for an arbitrary period of time. I told them over a year ago that i needed to cancel my policy. This is where the issues began. They completely ignored all of my requests to cancel, so I took matters into my own hands and filed two claims with the FTC, as well as a chargeback with my bank/credit union. I was also getting stuff sorted to get the state attorney general involved. The moment they received that nasty tick on their record, they finally respond to me saying that they have no records of me making any attempts to "cancel."Now I'm getting notifications from them that a payment is "due" despite no longer having any ties with them. What they're pulling right now is outright illegal, and I will stand my ground against this nonsense.I suppose that if I do have to get an attorney involved, I will have no choice but to do so. To be fair, they pulled three separate payments from me before I was finally able to silence them... At least for now.Avoid these scam baiters at all costs. Even Progressive has better standards than this. That's saying a lot.

I wasn't at fault so why treat me like I am

I had an accident. The other drive ran the red light. It was documented on the police report. They still want me to pay my deductible instead of going after the other person's insurance. They also refuse to speak with me. When I call I am transferred numerous times then hung up on and emails are never returned.

Esurance will screw you.

an Esurance (allstate/NGIC) insured motorist ran into our car from behind when we slowed down in an intersection. police report and statements from both parties confirm it was his fault as he was following too close or not paying attention. After a month of trying to get a response, Esurance denied our claim because if our car hadn't slowed down then he wouldn't0 have hit us. Unbelievable.

Do not go thru esurance..

Had a policy full coverage, told me I had a rental for up to 45 days, While the "adjuster" did their end. They had me turn In my rental a couple days later. So I've been walking to work ten miles total a day to and from... I received a call from the " adjuster" telling me to sign over the title and they will send me a check of an agreed amount, so I can replace my car... they have had my car and the title for weeks. Still no check, and he won't answer his phone or return my calls or voice mails... I'm feeling a little irritated and ripped off.
