I rented a car from Europcar at Mexicali central. We went San Felipe where we discovered the headlight high beams were inoperable. After letting the office know, Eduardo the service manager drove another car down from Mexicali that night to replace the original car. Above and beyond service! We extended the rental another 5 days there was no problem and we were charged our original rate. I would definitely rent a car again from the car rental agency, very satisfied.

Even though I had prepaid insurance clearly indicated on my voucher, the staff at the location refused to hand over the vehicle unless I purchased more insurance. I attempted to resolve this with the broker at the counter, but the matter remained unresolved, forcing me to pay reluctantly. Upon returning the vehicle, it was initially accepted. However, after I declined to offer a cash tip, I was abruptly informed that the car was 'excessively dirty,' without any proof shown to me. I was not provided with a close-out report, and subsequently, my card was charged an even higher amount without any explanation. The broker has acknowledged my complaint and is currently investigating the situation, which I appreciate, but I am still waiting for a complete resolution.

Terrible. I had a prepaid reservation, but after being shuttled from the airport to their office, I was informed that my pickup time was an hour later than scheduled. When I arrived half an hour after the reservation, they said it was too late to pick up, and my prepaid reservation for four days was no longer valid. Avoid this service, especially if you plan to prepay—they will find a way to deny your reservation and not refund you.
