I put down a £99 deposit on Farlan Automotive's website to reserve a car, which was then listed as reserved both on their site and Autotrader. The next day, having not heard from them, I called and was promised a callback that never came. I even rearranged my work shifts and started arranging insurance in preparation to collect the car.By late afternoon, with no word from the dealership, I reached out via WhatsApp, only to be told hours later the car had been reserved by someone else before me and another after me. They promised a refund within 3-5 working days, but here I am over a month later, still waiting for my money back. Despite multiple follow-ups, I've been given a runaround with excuses ranging from issues with Stripe to needing management intervention for the refund.It’s been a very disappointing and frustrating process, and at this point, it feels akin to being scammed. I strongly advise against making any reservations with Farlan Automotive as there’s no assurance on when, or even if, you'll ever see your money again.Update - Now at 5 weeks and still waiting for the refund.
