Farmers Insurance has had a claim that I have tried to resolve for many weeks. They have failed to communicate with me, lost documents, failed to work in good faith to resolve the issue and now I will have to file a law suit to collect a small sum of money just to resolve the matter. I have asked multiple times to talk to a senior claims agent. I was told the claim agent was new, had issues and the matter would be handled. He has not resolved the issue, lost emails, failed to obtain records and now a law suit is the only option with the multiple emails, calls and documented efforts have failed to resolve the case.
I opened claim for property water damage. Farmers have no assigned adjuster since 20 days, I have questions on what is covered on demolition and they do not pick up call or get back to you on VM within 2-3 days. Worse professional company to handle claim
I wish I could sue this company. We have both wind and hail damage and a State Farm inspector failed to mention the hail damage. When we requested another inspect, we were denied. We got a separate inspection and State Farm won’t accept it until the inspector adds more details. Our roof has been exposed for three weeks and State Farm won’t do anything about it.
Very unprofessional and ignorant company! They canceled my brand new policy after a month and half because I got PEX PIPE FOR MY WATER LINES. Took 10 weeks to receive my refund check even though they cancelled me and was really quick to take my money.
My vehicle was totaled by a Farmers Insured. The claim adjuster lied to me then would not return my calls. She certainly made feel like I was raped and then told that it was my fault. DO NOT EVER deal with Farmers. If you do get a lawyer they are the worst.
My car insurance premiums went from $142.00 a month one year ago to $298.50. I had one claim $1,200. 2 years ago because I pulled into a garage with my Yukon XL and hit my bumper. This is outrageous. I would stay far away from them.
The service with Farmers insurance company in Garland the one located on naaman forest school road is horrible. Brandon the guy that works there ran my business away. I went with another company for homeowners insurance. Run don’t walk. I had to take two Tylenol after dealing with him.
Canceled my policy via phone call (changed company with a broker); agent taking the call was courteous and helpful and canceled my policy without issue. Now, three months later I receive a debt collection letter for a bill that I was never notified of or received. I even checked my account after the cancelation to ensure it was canceled; there was not indication of an outstanding payment. They reasoning for the outstanding amount was "we bill after" so your due date (auto credit card processing) is - for some reason - in the middle of the cycle.

Different Eras, Same Exceptional Service
Farmers not only prides itself on helping you plan wisely for the unexpected, but also on helping restore order when it occurs, so you can keep moving along the road of your life’s plans.
In 1959 a Farmers customer wrote us a letter of surprised gratitude when his car battery was replaced just an hour after it was stolen. A letter from a couple in 2002 wrote that their Farmers agent and Claims Adjuster “were exceptional in their handling of our grief, what we needed to do, and helpful in many other ways.” That same year, when Hurricane Rita struck Beaumont, Texas, Farmers sent 300 agents to assess damages while policy holders were evacuated. Farmers also donated $100,000 for the city’s emergency operations center and two megawatt generators that restored power to Beaumont. Whatever year or decade a disaster occurs, you can count on us to be there for you.
