We used the ‘Dead Flat’ finish to paint the lounge walls and also the woodwork. Good quality paint which goes on easily and smoothly and is true to expected colour. We had an online order which was delivered on time and well packaged. Would definitely recommend.

Our whole house is painted with F&B and we love the paint. I built a Victorian greenhouse for my wife and used an exterior Danish Lawn which was so good that when I got some on my leg (it was summer) the paint was still there when I went on holiday!!

Premium colour chart really helped us choose what we wanted. Colours true to chart. Was sceptical that the price wouldn't reflect the quality but would actually say this is some of the best paint i have used (emulsion and eggshell). Although its not cheap its worth the end result. Coverage was excellent as is the finish. Something distinctive with F&B paint, people can always just tell that's what it is! Very impressed overall will be using again!

I ordered some samples at the beginning of January and was sent an email shortly after to say that, because of demand, they should not be shipped until the end of January. By the 8th of February I still hadn't heard anything so I sent an email to ask for my order to be shipped or refunded if this wasn't possible. The support agent got back to say there was still no date for dispatch and refunded me. So the support was fine but it's disappointing that F&B didn't have any process to keep me in the loop for an order they were unable to fulfill and were prepared to simply keep my money until I chased.

Four times my delivery has been cancelled on the day. While the issue seems to lie with the courier

Four times my delivery has been cancelled on the day. While the issue seems to lie with the courier that Farrow and Ball use, no attempt has been made to fix the problem and/ or cover for the loss of time and income that I have felt for waiting in my home for four days for nothing to turn up. Every day I have had to chat F&B and they do nothing.

Delivery delays caused major inconvenience.

The paint cards and samples took an unreasonable amount of time to arrive. I placed an order for dining room paint on December 16th, but by the 20th, I found myself driving 50 minutes each way to purchase paint from the nearest location. I contacted the support team on the 22nd/23rd, and while they were very helpful, I learned that my order had not been dispatched to the warehouse, resulting in it never arriving. With only three days to decorate and prepare the dining room for holiday guests, I was left quite dissatisfied.

Consistent Quality and Fast Delivery

I have purchased several pots of paint from the company, and the delivery has always been prompt. I strongly recommend the Dead Flat range, as scuffs and marks can be easily wiped away without fading the paint. I recently used The Hague Blue in my hallway, and it looks fantastic.

Think hard before you buy F&B paint. The colors are gorgeous, but they WILL NOT MATCH if you buy a gallon later for touch-ups. All of my kitchen cabinetry is painted Off-Black, but over time, the chips and scratches needed to be touched up. The new gallon was sickly greenish black and was so obviously a different color that I couldn't use it. F&B not only wouldn't refund me for the paint that didn't match, they wanted me to buy more paint and pay someone to repaint the entire kitchen! (Probably a $5k project!)

F&B insisted that the greenish black WAS the original color that I purchased and told me that it had just aged over time. I guarantee this is not the case and I would have noticed if my entire kitchen started out as a greenish black color!

I have used lots of premium paints in my life and every single one of them can be touched up years later with a fresh gallon of the same color. F&B is the only one I have had trouble with. And they're also the most expensive.

They are trying to sell a product at a premium price without a premium customer service model and I for one will NEVER purchase their products again!

Great colors, but quality issues prevent a repeat purchase

I really loved the colors. Unfortunately, I won't be using this service again due to the poor quality of the cans. Three out of the four gallons I received leaked during shipping, making a mess even though the paint itself was fine. Additionally, the cans are quite flimsy and hard to open because the metal is too soft. They don't hold their shape well and reseal poorly, with a lot of dried paint around the lids. I'm almost finished with my project and plan to transfer the paint to new containers, as I'm concerned it won't hold up otherwise. Overall, despite my fondness for the colors, the high cost doesn't justify the issues I've encountered. Very disappointing.
