I have been buying all of my trees and shrubs from Fast Growing Trees for a couple of years. The trees all arrive healthy and very carefully packed. Their customer service department is also excellent!!
Over the past 8-10 years, I’ve purchased several trees (apple, pomegranate) from the company while enjoying my role as a gentleman farmer on our retirement property in Tennessee. Now that we’re fully settled in, I’ve assessed the trees I bought and noticed how well they’ve thrived compared to others from local nurseries that didn’t make it. This prompted me to order more from the company. The process took only a few minutes to complete the tax exemption paperwork, followed by a call from the support team to confirm I could place my order, which I promptly did. This time, I ordered some Gardenias since winter hasn’t fully arrived yet, and I can bring them inside when temperatures drop significantly. I have no issues with pricing, customer service, or shipping costs, and I plan to purchase more nut trees (pecan, chestnut) while keeping the company at the top of my list.
I am still facing issues with my orders. I purchased several trees and expected a personal response when I contacted customer support. Initially, I received a generic reply, and the support representative continued to send standard responses without any option to speak to someone by phone. The problem remains unresolved—although one tree was sent (in poor condition), I feel helpless in seeking assistance from your company. Unfortunately, I will advise my friends and family against using your services.
I initially ordered 5 honey crisp trees, but upon arrival, 2 were damaged about 10 inches from the top, one had all the dirt spilled out, and another had its two largest branches broken. When I reached out to the support team, they sent me 1 replacement and suggested waiting to see if the others would survive. I paid for 4-5 foot trees to avoid waiting 2 years for them to reach the height I expected. Unfortunately, a similar issue occurred 2 weeks later with 8 Autumn fire maples; over half had broken branches or tops. Due to the shipping damage, I am considering sourcing more locally, as it seems difficult to transport them to my area without issues.
The trees exceeded my expectations in size, are healthy, and overall fantastic! They were shipped promptly and arrived in perfect condition due to the exceptional packaging! I am very satisfied with my order and eagerly anticipating the arrival of my Pawpaw trees in February.
I bought four trees, but one arrived out of its container with roots exposed in water. I reached out to customer support right away and followed their instructions. Now, two months later, this tree seems unlikely to survive, making it unsuitable as a gift. I'm advised to wait 90 days to see its condition, but the other tree is thriving. I believe the problematic tree should have been replaced after my second inquiry, as they seemed unaware of my issue despite previous photos I submitted. Overall, I am not satisfied with the support I received.
I'm extremely frustrated with this transaction. I feel you don't even deserve 1 star! You took my money, made me wait over a month, and still didn’t deliver the tree! You sold something that you don’t even have! I will NEVER purchase from this company again, and I expect a full refund!
