Worst experience I ever have. Never felt so angry at an app or developer. They purposely misguide you into get a free trial that DOES MOT EXIST. As soon as you suscribe. They took my money and that’s it. Even cancelling my sub didn’t work. Just wanted to check it out. Not subscribe to something I didn’t want. What a dodgy move.And they just proved they know there are doing this. They sent me an email saying I “misunderstood” as they don’t have a trial. They have a so called bonus. When I DO HAVE A SCREENSHOT of the clear “3-Day Free Trial” button on the app. The one I got scammed with.
Terrible customer service! I didn't realize I was on an annual autorenewal plan, but as soon as I saw the charge, which hit my card yesterday, I canceled the plan and requested a refund. I haven't used this product for nearly a year. But they say my request doesn't meet their refund policy. You can't cancel for "personal" reasons!
I’ve been using it for years and the final results are great, plus it’s constantly updated.The only downside is that many of the newest features and effects are included only in the monthly subscription plan. It would have been better if they could be purchased individually or in DLC-style packs. In my opinion, this slightly hurts the overall experience.
I am really annoyed: I had bought a version - presumaby a lifetime access. And now that the newest version is out, I cannot use my old one anymore. It constantly asks me to upgrade. I dont require the new tools or filters though. I tried uninstaling and reinstalling an older version and those just don't start on my Mac anymore. Seems like my investment is lost now.
I absolutely do not recommend Filmora to anyone. The software is full of bugs, crashes frequently in the middle of important projects, and customer support is basically non-existent. On top of that, many basic features are hidden behind extra paywalls, which is never made clear upfront. I purchased a subscription expecting a reliable editor, but all I got was wasted time and a lot of stress. There are far better options than Filmora out there—do not fall into the same trap.
