Wondershare Filmora is a SCAM.
I tried it's AI vedio generation, but the result was very poor. I canceled the service at the same day to get the refund within the trail period. However, it failed to get the refund, even though sending them email and writing support ticket to them.
biggest scam company ever!!!! I can't believe how stupid I am to have gotten trapped in this... their software is basically junk, with so many malfunctions and so many unexpected issues that make the software unusable, like preview quality turns junk, and you basically are unable to use the whole software because you can't tell it is the intended effect you need! and contact customer service, just like all other reviews said, they use all excuses to avoid a refund! There SHOULD be a class lawsuit against this SCAM company!!!!!!!!
I used to love this product. But with their new upgrade, they automatically changed me from $35 a year to $150 a year and took away a bunch of functions, making the program super glitchy and frustrating to use. I used to have unlimited functions. But now, of course, they’ve moved me to monthly credits. The only support available is an AI bot.
I feel deeply betrayed by them after being a customer with them since the very beginning. I am actively searching for an alternative. They’ve left me with a horrible taste in my mouth.
Update (3/19/26): Wondershare responded "...We understand how disappointing it can feel when changes to pricing, features, or performance do not meet your expectations..."
A 500% increase with no notice through my auto-bill subscription is not a simple change to pricing. It's absolute extortion. I can't speak to a real human about this, only to an AI bot,.
I paid for a perpetual licence back in 2018. I then changed over to a Mac computer and they wouldn't let me licence the product on the Mac. The support crew said that I would need to purchase a licence again. So it's not really a lifetime licence, it's a lifetime OS licence. Disappointed.
I was making a video for my youtube channel and when I exported the video it put a huge watermark during the whole video and I want it to be removed, but you need a subscription to remove it. And i'm not paying for a $5 subscription just to remove a watermark.
Stay away, wanted to test and signed up for trial, I ended up paying yearly subscription right away, no refund even after 5mins chat with them. Also tried to do audio to movie clips, very poorly done, disruption every second or two, 1/3 of full song
I have had the same problem twice. i have paid for a life long subscription. I had not used Filmora for a couple months.In order to export video without trade mark you have to log in. When I log in it only gives me purchase option and the account centre does not hold any information on my subscription. I am stuck. round in circles with help centre and bot phone call no help at all. I am beginning to wish i had chosen alternative video editing
