This software is good but after buying I noticed that I had to buy credits to generate captions every now and then and I ditched it within a week because I had already paid a lot of money to get the software but now I had to pay more on a weekly basis just to get captions for my videos . It sucks really and on top of that they were still trying to deduct other amounts of unknown reasons from my Paypal.
DO NOT try or download this software. I bought it on the 7 day trial but after four days they were saying i needed to pay the extra subscription of £17.99 every month. This isn't made clear on the website as it look like a tick box you need to tick if you want this as an extra. I have asked for a refund but this say i am outside their terms and conditions for a refund either though the offer a 30 day refunds. This is outside of consumers right if you are unhappy within the 30 days, so basically they are just scammers.
I’ve been using Filmora for over a month, and I feel completely scammed. I paid for the advanced plan expecting full access, but almost every useful template, effect, or asset is locked behind another paywall called “Creative Assets.”Nowhere during purchase was it made clear that these weren’t included. It’s misleading and frustrating — I already paid, and yet I’m constantly hit with upgrade prompts and hidden fees. This isn’t just poor communication, it feels intentional.I absolutely hate this “Creative Assets” trap. It ruined what could have been a decent editing experience. I will not recommend Filmora to anyone and regret investing in it.Avoid it unless you’re okay with paying over and over again for things you thought you already bought.

NOT worth paying for a subscription, then additional credits, with so many FREE AI tools out there today that blow Filmora out of the water. Also, it's slow and hard to find transitions and effects. The final straw is customer support is NOTthe best. They're one of those companies that DO NOT refund your money, instead they just keep you hostage with continuous emails back and forth with NO resolution. Will I renew? NO WAY!

Well I just updated my filmora and guess what? Now I cannot use it. It says I have to reinstall the program because a file is missing. It says the code of execution cannot proceed because Qt5widdget.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem.I was in the middle of a project... that is my frustration and I am tired. I am open to your suggesttions. Thank you.
