Positives first - the engineer that arrived for my call out for a leaking fridge freezer filter head was absolutely fantastic. Bradley was polite, knowledgable and carried out all the work perfectly. He really is an asset to Fisher &Paykel. Unfortunately, I do feel dissatisfied that I have had to pay out a lot of money to replace a part that I understand has since been redesigned. The water filter head installed on my 6 year old appliance was obviously not fit for purpose. I would not expect a company of this calibre to have a crucial part that only lasted that short length of time. I do feel in this instance that it should have been covered as the company were obviously aware that the part was not up to their standards.
Series 7 Fridge Freezer. The manufacturing quality of this appliance is poor. The sheet steel used on the doors is very thin and dents with minimal pressure. If you are intending to purchase this appliance avoid the model without external handles. Pushing the door closed by pressing on the steel panel is enough to create a dent. The issue was raised with the company under warranty but they do not accept that the design is not fit for purpose. Dissatisfied and very disappointed given the high end price tag.
