Hayley Greenall suggested that I look at a flight to Thailand via Turkmenistan,Ashgabat international airport.In the ongoing political climate this really is not a safe option as a view of the travel advice to UK Citizens on government website quite plain. Avoid dealing with such people at all costs. Is it seriously asking too much to ask for travel advisors to be aware and point out the risks of setting down in a country with the third worst human rights record (177 in 180)in the world and that locks up its passengers in the airside transit hotel!
