I waited for 30 minutes on the platform indicated at the bus station. The bus never arrived. And yet the bus supposedly went by :-(J'ai attendu 30 minutes sur le quai indiqué de la gare routière. Le bus n'est jamais arrivé. Pourtant le bus est soit disant passé :-(Service client ne maîtrisant pas le français absolument pas concerné par mon problème.
Travel conditions are more and more degrading and humiliating over the years, for a less and less attractive price (even if it's still cheap, it cannot justify everything).This time (once again), the travel was given to a subcontractor, whose buses are far worse than "real" Flixbus buses. Seats are so tightened we barely have space to breathe. And the toilets, when we can use it (we cannot 50% of the time), are so ridiculously tight we have to contort in order to pee.Drivers could not speak French nor English. It is true the bus arrived from Barcelona, so the drivers are spanish. Fine with it. But at the very least, they should be able to manage a conversation in English. Plus, they have been rude. They arrived much earlier than expected, which could be fine. But then, they hurried us out of the bus.These remarks could apply to many travels (I regularly use Flixbus for round-trips between Rennes and Montpellier, and too often, toilets are not working).
Bus had none of the amenities promised by FlixBus. No wifi at all in the bus, no electric outlet on any row. Seat réservations weren't honored. Driver just shrugged it off : he said it was like this on this trip, and should not be a surprise. Company shouldn't sell amenities on buses that don't have them.
The two drivers who started their journey from Paris Bercy took bribe from people who did not have residence permit to live in the EUROPEAN UNION but had passports of Africa or Asia. They took 40 to 50 euros per person and got them on board. But initially they refused the entrance. Later with the help of a group of some Africans, they took cash by blackmailing these same people they refused the entrance at the first place. They had the perfect set up. It's such a shameless act. Where's their honesty, decency and integrity? The drivers most likely were of Spanish origin. But regardless. These kind of acts are going deeply affect the business of Flixbus. And it's going to ruin the image of Flixbus.
